Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

According to Talking Points Memo, a Teabagger activist named Carol Dietz sent an e-mail to the "Tea Party" group trying to incite a revolution lest they suffer the fate of millions of European Jews:

"The jews KNEW that they were the target of Hitler--this didn't happen over night, they had PLENTY of warning--and they didn't DO anything," Dietz wrote. "They went like sheep quietly to their slaughter--they did not fight." Dietz concluded: "WE NEED A REVOLUTION." This is not the first time we've heard this comparison and likely Dietz did not come up with the idea all on her own. Glenn Beck has made numerous comparisons between Hitler and Obama; he told his listeners that Fox "News" were the Jews, and Obama would come for Fox first, then he would come for the others:

--Breaking News from Tea-bagging Headquarters---

A leader in the tea-bagger movement got his scrotum torn off in an industrial accident.

He is expected to recover sans nuts, but he can't be a leader anymore, he can only be a follower.

Looks like a bunch of chest-thumping idiots who want to feel important.

If they keep up their treasonous babbling, the government might just grant their wish of persecution.

Here's hoping they cross the line soon.
Their incessant whining and pants pissing over every bullshit anti-Obama theory is too moronic to stand for long.

I was in Atlanta last Tuesday and there was a "patriot"(I could tell by his hat) in a convertible with a large American flag and pole sticking out of his car, with large Obama lies signs on his car driving 45 mph on I-75 just north of downtown. 5 lanes and he was is 2nd lane from the median. The guy that was with me and has nothing good to say about Obama was the first to say "What an idiot".

Zombie, after reading books about Ruby Ridge and Waco these things do seem to be self fulfilling prophecys which just make the ones feeling persecuted feel justified in the paranoia. Funny how that works.

Well, Well what's new. The DailyKos, far-far left bloggers whose founder is tied to paid government funding, conveniently takes the facts way out of context. Did any of you far-lefter kool-aid drinkers in here who jumped on the bandwagon track back to the actual story to get the proper context? Of course not.

A Tea Party activist today used a U.S. military email address to call for "civil disobedience" in opposition to the policies of the Obama administration.

In a message sent this morning to fellow members of the Tea Party Patriots, who had been discussing movement strategy, Richard A. Correa Sr., who identifies himself as a retired sergeant, wrote:

Civil disobedience is the next logical step.

Correa's email, which was obtained by TPMmuckraker, was sent using a U.S. army address.

The email may in fact have been an effort to tone down the fervor among Tea Partiers. It appears to have been a response to a fellow activist, Carol Dietz, who, in her own email sent to the Tea Party group on Wednesday, had argued that the group needed to become more aggressive in its effort to resist the administration. The rallying calls form Dietz and Correa had inspired a third Tea Partier, Brian Bertha to say "I will not go quietly into the night I will stand and I will fight."

I'm just curious Andy, which books on Ruby Ridge and Waco did you read to conclude such a "self-fulfilling prophecy"? Apparently those same DailyKos funded shills.

"May in fact have been an effort to tone down the fervor...."

Great it that's true. There are so many right-wing armed idiots coming out of the wordwork promising to shoot someone it's becoming worrisome.

Zed, can you back up claims so many "promising to shoot someone"?

I've heard those say they would fire if personally provoked, but not to go out to find people to shoot.

Carol Dietz has probably had one tea too many. She certainly has one "e" too many.

I thought a tea-bagger was someone who performed oral sex on another man. Personally, I find it disgusting. But are we allowed to use the term as an insult now? Because if it's not homophobic to, I've got plenty more!

L Cont - "Ruby Ridge" was the name of one book, the dude would've never had anything happen if he didn't hang with white supremacists that were plotting to kill government officials and agree to sell weapons to undercover ATF (or FBI I don't remember) guys.

As for WACO, I read "From the Ashes of Waco" or something like that and the author definitely had a pro-David Koresh bend, but I still got the impression that Koresh's weirdness and anti government talk did nothing but garner attention to be directed at his group.

RIR, the only people who can use homophobic insults are enlightened Liberals.

Actually, no one should use homophobic insults. Which means we can't say "You suck!" But the teabagger this is _funny_. You know, 'cause the movement seems to come mostly from the right wing (despite what some claim), and the right wing generally decries homosexuality... Oh, never mind. If one has to explain humor, it ceases to be humorous.

But RIR is a dildo, so that's a different story.

I went to jr high in Marlin and high school in Waco. A sheriff and a couple of the U.S. marshals there were my classmates. ATF blew it up front, all right, but in the end it triggered a self-fulfilling suicidal 'prophecy.'

That compound of religious lunatics dates back to the 30's. They were always about 'arming up' to fight Armageddon. They were always nuts.

BATF's incompetence with the initial raid was the trigger. This could have succeeded without bloodshed if we'd not had a grandstanding BATF bureaucracy.

"RIR is a dildo"

Is he a steely Dan?

what is so objectionable about obama's polcies?

He really hasnt been radical at all, he has been leading from the middle in most areas.

very bizarre this hatred of him.

cause he wants to give health care to all?

cause he passed a stimulus bill?

THAT is so objectionable?

Where were these people when there president was starting wars based on lies, subverting the constitution, torturing people, ignoring NO flood, etc.,

"Is he a steely Dan?"

Nah, he's not that impressive.

Doesn't stand that tall.

Doesn't leave that much of an impression.

#12 Andy, contrary to what you may read, it is not illegal to be part of a separatist group. Being in one is not a "self-fulfilling prophecy". Doesn't the constitution apply to groups you don't agree with? Did your books mention the dubious complicity involved in both cases?

Ruby:
"A former green Beret turned separatist, Weaver had refused to cooperate with the feds in 1991 when an agent of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) entrapped him by hiring him to cut off the barrels of two shotguns illegally. Once Weaver was arrested, BATF tried to force him to inform on the Aryan Nation group, whose meetings he had attended on a few occasions, but he refused. Weaver also refused to appear in court for the minor firearms charge."

Waco:
"(Name redacted) telephone call from (name redacted) on or about 4/17/95, two days prior to the OKBOMB attack, when (name redacted) of the SPLC, was in the white supremacist compound at (redacted), Oklahoma, notes the director."

The Daily Gazette reports, "References to an informant working for the SPLC at Elohim City on the eve of the Oklahoma City bombing raises serious questions as to what the SPLC might know about McVeigh's activities during the final hours before the fuse was lit in Oklahoma City but which the SPLC has failed to disclose publicly."

Dees confirmed the presence of an informant at Elohim City at a recent press conference, the paper reported.

"If I told you what we were doing there, I would have to kill you," Dees replied when asked to explain.

Andy, contrary to what you may read, it is not illegal to be part of a separatist group.

Damn right!

Face it the teabaggers and their ilk like the birthers already are revolting.

You say you want a revolution
Well you know
We'd all want to change the world
You tell me there's no evolution
Well you know
We'd all want to change the world
But when you talk about Teabaggery
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all Right [x3]

You say you got a real solution
Well you know
We'd all want to see the Alaskan plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well you know
We're all doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell you is brother you'll have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all Right [x4]

You say you'll change the constitution
Well you know
We'd all love to change your head
You tell me it's the Obamanation
Well you know
You better free your mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of Sarah P.
You ain't going to make it with anyone 'specially me
Don't you know know it's gonna be all Right [x3]
All Right [x7]
