I'm still trying to figure out where this "2010 is going to be a big GOP year" stuff is coming from. Every time I see a poll, there's no evidence to support the idea at all. Case in point, this CNN story titled "CNN Poll: GOP favorable rating lowest in a decade:

Thirty-six percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Friday say they have a favorable opinion of the Republican Party, with 54 percent viewing the GOP negatively.
