A White House effort to undermine conservative critics is generating a backlash on Capitol Hill and not just from Republicans.

"It's a mistake," said Rep. Jason Altmire, a moderate Democrat from western Pennsylvania. "I think it's beneath the White House to get into a tit for tat with news organizations."

When WILL the numbskull dems hop on board?

I hope they don't get the chance. I hope they all get voted out. Moderate Dems need to stop far lefties like Pelosi and Frank or they'll ruin the party much as the neo-cons did to the pubs.

If both parties went to shambles, it wouldn't bother me. Both are run by fringe lunatics and cronies.

I will agree with you - voting the lesser of two evils still gives you an evil in office!

Just think if GW had the time to go after all his media "enemies" like O does.

Man, he would have a full time job of it. And Fox was a critic of him as well when he deserved it.

Unlike the Pied Piper State media who bow no matter what.

B.O. is as dumb as Carter and as paranoid as Nixon.

Just think if GW had the time to go after all his media "enemies" like O does.

Bush wouldn't because it would have given his 'media enemies' creditability. I bet if W. had went after Keith Olbermann, Olbermann's ratings would've increased. That would be a risky bet, though, because Olbermann's show sucks so bad.
