Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

The signal to corporations is equally clear: You might have dealings with a federal behemoth that not only disburses more than $3 trillion every year but is extending its reach ever deeper into private industry finance, autos, soon health care and energy. Think twice before you run an ad on Fox.

At first, there was little reaction from other media. Then on Thursday, the administration tried to make them complicit in an actual boycott of Fox. The Treasury Department made available Ken Feinberg, the executive pay czar, for interviews with the White House "pool" news organizations except Fox. The other networks admirably refused, saying they would not interview Feinberg unless Fox was permitted to as well. The administration backed down.

Now someone is showing some huevos.

And the networks are bi-partisan! Actually UNITED.

Refreshing.

And take that Obama and Mr. Fish!

The article you linked to doesn't even work.

How do you screw up cutting and pasting a link?

Found the link:

www.investors.com

jackass - it's easily done if you're doing your own html code. And, once the honest mistake is made here, it's difficult to go back and fix - rcade must fix it as we have no editorial rights.

here's a little vid to go along with it:

www.youtube.com

All you have to do is paste the link in the box. Not really that hard Nanc.

ASSJACKER,

Why don't you stop being such a queef and leave Murphy alone? I suppose you never made a mistake? Never mind, you are too much of an asshole to see it.

True, jackass - I didn't know that until a few months ago and was creating my own html until I found out - give murphy a break and get on subject.

I believe it's a good show of solidarity that some of the other reporters stated emphatically they would not go on unless they relented and allowed their FOX kin in - do you get that? The other networks and cable are getting a different message from all this - HEY - if maobama can pull this crap on FOX, they can surely pull it on the rest of us if we disagree with his house.

I would rather get a bad link than a misspelling of something on the headline.

I've had both PLUS bad grammar mistakes! The meaning of the post was not lost on all three.

The left will see this as the other news people turning on THEM rather than maintaining camaraderie with a fellow news person, however.

Jackass--I did copy and paste the link.

Have no idea what happened.

Thanks Nancy..

ok--I give up--what is misspelled??

What is up with the complaints??

Why not post something intelligent?

Anything...

What is truly amazing is--first it was Tapper of ABC and there must have been a pow-wow.

This is a huge media rebuke of Obama and the WH thugs on their attacks on FOX.

Good news - his heinous' ratings are at a 50 year low:

www.telegraph.co.uk

Obama just got bitch-slapped.

"Good news - his heinous' ratings are at a 50 year low:"

Well, that's a lie.

Good. As much as I detest fox "news" and their obviously completely 100% biased and partisan crap...

I don't like the idea of the White House telling the press corpse who they have in the pool. Like the MSM isn't usually sucking the ballbag of whatever authority we have anyway?

Obama should just mock those fox dittoheads and correct their lies in interviews. If he doesn't want to go to their station, fine...but don't lock them out of the pool. Be a man, Obama.

You didn't misspell anything. I was just saying a bad link is not that big of a deal. Chill out and ask Nanc for a Midol.

We get a chance to review spelling but links are not so easy to double check.

Why don't you stop being such a queef and leave Murphy alone?

He wants the world to know how tough he is. His Sensei doesn't allow him to train with boys.

#20 | Posted by wurster - I'm giving you an FF on that because I haven't needed a midol in quite some time!

Wisgod - BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! FF!

#20 | Posted by wurster

FF

I took a midol one time at age 15 or something and threw up.

No midol ever after that...

If midol works on hotflashes - I'm in!

This is a huge win for the media.

...here's what happened.

Feinberg did a pen and pad with reporters to brief them on cutting executive compensation. TV correspondents, as they do with everything, asked to get the comments on camera. Treasury officials agreed and made a list of the networks who asked (Fox was not among them).

But logistically, all of the cameras could not get set up in time or with ease for the Feinberg interview, so they opted for a round robin where the networks use one pool camera. Treasury called the White House pool crew and gave them the list of the networks who'd asked for the interview.

The network pool crew noticed Fox wasn't on the list, was told that they hadn't asked and the crew said they needed to be included. Treasury called the White House and asked top Obama adviser Anita Dunn. Dunn said yes and Fox's Major Garrett was among the correspondents to interview Feinberg last night.

=======================

no matter how much jacks ass tries to deflect this

its a ANOTHER loss for the obamamanics who continue to practice "THE CHICAGO WAY" in washington.
the others look at fox and the chamber of commerce and the DRS That obama INSULTED and the others who are discarded if not usefull to the statists..
and they reacted.
good for them

OH YEAH mister ASS>

so didnt you even know about this without seeing the link?
oh my..you mean we on the right are more current events aware???

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooo

Well there is hope for the media.

I don't know if I should be proud of the Washington bureau chiefs or disappointed that none of their news outlets are reporting this.

I guess I'll have to settle for a little of both.
