It is clear now what is behind this. He thinks this couple has to be married to have children together. He's just trying to stop another inter-racial potential President from being born.

The Judge who performed my ceremony was a prominent conservative republican on eastern long island. I only spoke to him a couple of times on the phone. When my wife and I showed up we laughed to ourselves as we saw his eyes pop out of his head just a little bit.

He behaved himself though and since we had written the ceremony ourselves, he had to stick to the script. He got the hell out of there as soon as he could afterward.
