A recent feud between a politician and a media figure has gotten so heated that a senior member of the Obama administration has stepped in to squash it.
On Thursday's "Tonight Show," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered a videotaped message to host Conan O'Brien and Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Cory Booker, who have been taking shots at each other for the past couple of weeks.
"As secretary of state, my job is to strengthen ties and improve relations, whether it be between nations around the world or between the mayor of a midsized American city and the host of a mildly amusing late-night talk show," Clinton said.
