With all of the fruitless discussion on whether God exists, I think we lost track of the magic of what has been found. This article furthers the discussion. Despite the fact it goes against all of my male 'killing instincts I've been taught we possess, this article points to a marked change in how we view ourselves, our fellow primates and other species. What is interesting to me (and it has been suggested before Ardi) is that the main primate lineage is man, while gorillas and chimps are offshoots of us. And of course the empathy among animals is quite cool.
