Nice try at logic, klifferd. But I have posted many times I believe the government should be involved only in the problem of covering catastrophic health concerns. I happen to live by my beliefs. If I were on record against highways and public police you might have made a point....keep trying.

if all our "bankrupt" worthy medical bills were covered and our regular checkups dental etc remained as is then i'd be cool

i think the public option should be a basic coverage...

and private should have value adds

that means the public option is a standard base line for competition purposes and keeping the privates in check...

any one who works hard for their money and wants private insurance will get dental, extended care, long term disability, etc
