Sweet! The face of the GOP making idiots out of themselves while mainstream America laughs at them.

The Birfers make the Truthers look totally sane in direct comparison.

Spud imagines this infomercial will attract the same crowd who already have a closet full of spray-on hair and electric abdomicisers and GWB memorial plates.

Morons, basically.

Be Well.

DARWIN!

Just when you think they've hit bottom, they steal a backhoe and start digging...

I can't tell you how proud I am that Jacksonville, Florida, was one of the 13 cities selected as gullible enough to fall for this infomercial campaign.

Oh good grief!!!

THIS again????

Jacksonville, Florida, was one of the 13 cities

It IS NOT the face of the GOP!

These are reject Dems and repubs doing this stuff.

BTW--this is thread 56 for birth certificate nonsense.

"IS NOT the face of the GOP!

These are reject Dems and repubs doing this stuff."

Oh, so now birthers are "reject Dems", eh, you partisan hack?

"These are reject Dems "

HUH????????

Gary Kreep???

This is a joke, right?

Who is paying for this shit?
I don't believe for one minute this is financed by a bunch of $20-50 contributions. Who's got the deep pockets behind this aggressive stupidity?

WEST TEXAS....its almost like a different place..
when there is little more than rattlesnakes and tumbleweeds for miles and miles and miles...
well lets just say...its different...

beats the shit out of wisconsin or pennslyvania though....

oh and spud..wrong again old boy

wanting obama to produce something as simple as a birth certificate is much less than people believing the POTUS would have thousands killed in order to go to war...that is just brain farting of the highest magnitude.

MAIN point??

get over it...

The Birfers make the Truthers look totally sane in direct comparison.

The birther thing is ridiculous. Nobody died.

9/11 was an inside job. Oneday, I hope all of you eat major crow!

thats all one needs to read from you..

So Afk, explain how a contemporaneous birth notice existed in the Hawaiian newspaper. Did this conspiracy go all the way back to when President Obama was a few days old? Was a Wayback Machine involved?

And shit, if he pulled off a hoax of this magnitude, well, fuck, he should be elected leader of the universe. This is even better than Truther conspiracy theories.

I really should dig up my birth certificate and see how it's labeled.

"WEST TEXAS....its almost like a different place..

You can have el paso and I will take Youngstown, PA.......there is no comparion. That is the worst drive ever though. When I moved to cali years back I went 10 west......the happiest moment other than arriving in LA, was when I saw teh sign that said you are now entering New Mexico!!

I agree but all the 911truthers 'theories' got their latest smokin' gun now ~ whereas the only 'smokin' gun the birthers have is that Obama is a former CIA dude:>)

Obama needs to switch parties to end this?

no difference anyway between 'em anymore ~ maybe never has been...

Spread the crazy!

Most republicans I've talked to say that if a court were to take a birther case they would be outraged and if there wasn't concrete proof of a fraud on the part of Obama, they would protest such an attempt to usurp the presidency. I think Obama is turning out to be a piss-poor president and he misrepresented what he stood for and is probably less competent than Bush but he is an American and a legitimate president.

Seems liberals are more obsessed with the whole 'birther' thing than anyone else.

Wurst...sure they are. Tell that to Muffy.

"Seems liberals are more obsessed with the whole 'birther' thing than anyone else."

Huh? I mostly ignore it, unless some fool brings it up. There are so many actual issues and missteps to criticize this president for already. : ) (Though I don't understand statements like "probably less competent than Bush"--at what?)

Sorry...there's no way these people are ever going to be strongly associated as anything but sore-loser conservatives. Same with the tea-partier's.

what's worse, lying about your your birthplace or fixing Diebold voting machines?

William Rodriguez is a true hero.

www.youtube.com

Well, that's assuming he lied. And that Bush (is that your implication?) fixed Diebold voting machines.

Either would be gaming the system, right? Which is wrong, right?

from one of the comments in the AuntieSocial hour post above:>)

"The survivors didn't need to thank him. William Rodriguez was recognized as a national hero by the news media and President Bush. If you believe the official 911 fairy tale about Bin Laden then you should at least have faith in President's Bush's judgement on Wiliam Rodriguez. 911 was an inside job and anyone with their brain out of their ass knows it"

Not a shred of evidence for the birther's claims.

"Wouldn't it be great if..." is not admissible in any court of law.

Birther=idiot.

No exceptions.

I'm waiting for the afterbirthers to come up with a birth certificate showing where Obama was REALLY born. The burden of proof is on the accusers who can't seem to deal with this inconvenient truth.

BIRTHERS my Ass, call these Bastards for what they are "RACIST BASTARDS"....

BTW--this is thread 56 for birth certificate nonsense.

In keeping with the Fairness Doctrine I demand another Sarah Palin thread!

Funny, Snoof--but for parallel, you should be demanding another Truther thread.

Keep the plebeian masses distracted I guess. This would be funny if so many retards weren't on board, looking for something, anything to discredit a president.

You see a black president. I see the president.

See, if you weren't subconsciously ruled by your racist fears, you would capitalize the title President.

But your just can't stand to give a black man the credit he deserves!

I guess you missed the news. The 911 Commission has stated that it is full of lies---that they were lied to on every level. Why would the government lie to the 911 commission if they weren't complicent in the attack? Bush knew about the attack and allowed it to happen. So did Silverstein, and had the building wired long before the attacks. That's why there were explosions in the basement before the planes ever got there, and explosions after they impacts. It explains why Bush sat on his ass for seven minutes, and explains why Bush didn't want ANY investigation into 911, and why he wouldn't testify without Cheney being present. Treason. What flavor is the Kool-Aide today?

911 Commission Rejects Own Report as Lies

"Or white men too for the same reason, apparently"

I hope that reason is that the rule is that you only cap the word "president" if the president's name follows the title. (You don't write, "I went to see my Doctor," but you do write, "I went to see Doctor Johnson." Similarly, "I voted for Barack Obama for president; he is now President Obama.")

And thus endeth your English lesson. ; ) (Journalism often doesn't follow standard English rules; the origins of said rule-breaking are said to be in typesetting...)

Pragmatist,

How do you feel about merde munching morons who mangle the objective form of the personal pronoun.

I think the idiots who can't properly use the word 'me' should be priority customers for the DEATH PANELS. This includes about half the writers for TV shows and movies. And more than a few politicians.

LMAO. Axe, there might actually be something we agree on. (grin)

When I applied for my first passport, I was required to provide conclusive proof of my birth in the USA. A certified, notarized, official birth certificate.

It is not hard to get, if legitimate. My diplomatic passport was hell to get, but as an American I finally got it

The burden of proof is on the person claiming to be an American, ignordumbass

Come to think of it, the Messiah also has never produced a valid US passport -- not even a blue 'tourist' passport

What prag meant to say was: LMAO Axe, there might actually be something, upon which we can agree.

Never end a sentence with a preposition.

BTW, Ignortard, we just had a baby here in Taiwan and for him to get a US passport requires me to produce more than a dozen documents.

Even my own US passport is not enough. I also have to come up with things like:

1. My military service record
2. college transcripts
3. letters of employment
4. a letter from my church pastor
5. tax returns
6. bank account records

and more

Should your Messiah be subject to less scrutiny than other citizens, or are we all just the subjects of the Dear Leader?

Does he have to provide a passport? He must have one--he travels and traveled before becoming president.

According to the state of Hawaii, the certificate provided is official, as official as it gets.

In a lawsuit or civil trial, the burden of proof is on the accuser. Always. From murder to negligence leading to an injury. The burden of proof is different in civil and criminal, at least in some states.

Vernon, you'd have a point if Obama were suing the committee (or whatever) for not letting him run for president. But that's not what's happening.

"Never end a sentence with a preposition."

That is a criticism up with which I will not put. --Winston Churchill

"The burden of proof is on the person who is claiming to be American..."

Which Obama has met. Useless to recapitulate the annoying facts. You don't like them, and you think you have facts of your own.

Madness.

The Vernon cavalcade of stupidity, peranioa, and wacky numbers just keeps on rollin them hits out one after one, dont it?

#51,
Me likey.

Vernon, you have zero cred when you throw your little hissy fits and flap yer hands and call the guy who beat yer guy "the mesiah". We all know that is right wing code word for "upitty colored fellow".

You really, seriously, shuold try to sound a teeny weeny itty bitty bit open to acknowledging that a dude from the left beat yer dud from the right and is now and until the end of his term The Preznit.

Go to the McFish-heads and squid falaffel shop and get some snuggies for the adorable little gift of the cabbage patch and count yer blessings..

Oh, hell, now I'm agreeing with Zed. Harumph.

And to Whiskey, I'm glad you enjoyed my (Sir Winnie's) retort.

the predictable bullshit from the Left is always entertaining.

Is the Messiah a legitimate American citizen? Yes, most likely.

The point of my posts is only that lesser Americans must jump through many hoops, simply to prove that we are Americans.

As the First American it seems that the Messiah could produce a few documents. Hell, I have to piss away hours of time and waste a day to go to Taipei to do this. The Messiah only has to tell his secretary.

When I applied for my first passport, I was required to provide conclusive proof of my birth in the USA. A certified, notarized, official birth certificate.

Now, if it's true that your birth certificate is both "certified" (whatever that means) and "notarized" (which seems odd, considering you could not be party to the notarization, unless you emerged from the womb with the ability to write), that's great.

My "birth registration certificate" has the following information: Name, Sex, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Registration Date, Date Issued, and the name and address of the Registrar of Vital Statistics. It is neither notarized nor certified. It is embossed with the corporate seal of the county as well.

Despite my lack of notarization and certification, I was provided a passport.

I guess I'm a Manchurian Candidate too?

People whose birth records were lost in Katrina, should we strip them of their citizenship?

BTW turd blossom, I have 'no guy'

Don't project, just because you are a member of the Blind and Most Worshipful Servants of The Great Messiah and Deliverer

Vernon, I'm going to need you to certify and notarize all your posts from now on.

It's the only way to be sure someone hasn't guessed your password and hacked your account.

Thanks in advance.

How do you feel about merde munching morons who mangle the objective form of the personal pronoun.

Especially the 1st person plural form. That seems to be the most misused.

I also hate seeing misused reflexive pronouns. "Call either Kathy or myself if you have any questions". AGH! Should be "me", not "myself" in that sentence.

What a bunch of tools. I wish a birther would come to the Dojo.

Never end a sentence with a preposition.

"That's something we can agree on, asshole."

How's that? *grin*

"Never end a sentence with a preposition."

"That is something up with which I shall not put."
~Winston Churchill

If I didn't get it exactly right that's because I didn't check.

I thought it was "That is the sort of pedantry up with which I shall not put."

"If I didn't get it exactly right that's because I didn't check."

Ditto. : ) (Dude, you pulled a prag--you didn't read the rest of the posts before spouting off!)

And Goatman, I was thinking the same thing--about intensive pronouns. You know what else bugs me--when someone uses the dash purely for emphasis. (grin)

You know what else bugs me--when someone uses the dash purely for emphasis. (grin)

I'm guilty of that one, too. I was also told by my creative writing teacher (Ms. Harding) that I over-use parentheticals, and, commas.

What about split infinitives? Ms. Harding allowed them, but she said a purist wouldn't. "Mary said she was going to quickly take a shower."

The Birthers are on to something. This is a winning issue for the Republican Party which should resonate with the nation at large. The GOP should devote all it's resources to pursuing this one issue.

And the fact that it seems this is all playing out in Southern, formerly slave owning States is just a coincidence. Racism has nothing to do with it. Let's keep our eyes on the ball. Obama is Communist Muslim from Kenya.

"And to Whiskey, I'm glad you enjoyed my (Sir Winnie's) retort."

Some debate as to it's accuracy, however...

Tiny Elvis, please....let me help you!!

Obama is hiding something....

"What about split infinitives?"

Ain't a thang. Comes from old Latin rules. Pshaw, I say. I go with "Try to avoid splitting an infinitive, but if it sounds silly, then let it go."

Combining the two rules, you would get "To go boldly where no man before has gone." Which if you're British, _might_ sound okay.

""And to Whiskey, I'm glad you enjoyed my (Sir Winnie's) retort."
Some debate as to it's accuracy, however..."

But the message is clear. No?

"Obama is hiding something...."

Yes, his split infinitives. It's a seeeeecret.

His birth certificate should be no big deal. Just produce it and end this stupid debate

New sitcom starting this fall on HBO:

"The Gopers: Exploring the Margins with the Already Marginalized"

Will it star JeffJ Doc?? I bet He could give an award winning performance don't You??

Larry

These people are retarded..get the fuck over it..We get it already.. you don't like niggers and wish you come out publicly and say it but don't want to be banished to Stormfront.

"Will it star JeffJ Doc??"

LARRY -

Jeff's been auditioning pretty hard for a leading role and I think he's probably got a lock on this character:

JEFFJ REPOOBLITHUNK: Young man, extremely earnest, crew-cut, likes Ralph Lauren Polo fashion statements, switched from "Hai Karate" to "Old Spice" because of its "exotic" flavor, faux unbiased, intensely ideological, vast mood swings bordering on bipolarity. Role model: Greg Marmalard, Omega President, Faber College, impotent boyfriend of Mandy Pepperide in "National Lampoon's Animal House."

His birth certificate should be no big deal. Just produce it and end this stupid debate

I live in Hawaii. I needed a birth certificate once from California. They only issue certified copies, just like Hawaii. It was good enough for the feds 40 years ago to get a passport. What do you lolo's want? You want Obama to waste his time trying to get Hawaii to change the law, so you can bitch about that too?

Clinton had it right, it's a vast right wing conspiracy, like every thing else they do.

Okay folks, Snoofy is here to explain this one to you.

The New York Times has a great graphic of the 2008 election. "Voting Shifts" shows how much bluer or redder a county was in 2008 compared to 2004. Red indicates how much more Republican those counties voted in 2008 compared to 2004.

Map is here, click "Voting Shifts" on the left side.
elections.nytimes.com

As you can see, most of America went more Blue, but there is a Red Crescent extending down Appalachia, across Tennessee and Arkansas, and into West Texas. And there are a few scattered areas of blue in that crescent.

The cities where the Birther infomercial aired are the islands of blue in the sea of red.

Make no mistake, this is shrewd, politically calculated propaganda.

My son was born overseas and it was not hard at all to get the documents from The US Embassy. In fact, he never got a US birth certificate, as he was not born in the US. However, he did get a document from the US Embassy stating he is a US citizen. I suspect you, birfer, are full of shit.

So I take it there are at least a few Birthers up in this bitch...

Do you folks want Joe Biden to become President and Nancy Pelosi to become VP? Because that's what will happen if you are right.

Maybe Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi is secretly behind the Birther thing?

Do you folks want Joe Biden to become President and Nancy Pelosi to become VP? Because that's what will happen if you are right.

You are only half right. Pelosi wouldn't necessarily become VP unless Biden appointed her. And I don't think even Biden would be that stupid.

Oh, thanks Goatman, I thought everyone moved up a spot if the guy at #1 disappears. But I guess that wouldn't really make sense to shift everyone's job like that.

If Obama and Biden were simulatneously incapacitated, then Pelosi would be president, however. You are right, they don't all shift up a chair if only on leaves.

In fact, I don't think there was a VP from November 22, 1963 until Jan 1965 when Johnson was sworn in after being elected president.

Wikipedia.
The term diaspora (in Greek, διασπορά "a scattering [of seeds]") refers to the movement of any population sharing common ethnic identity who were either forced to leave or voluntarily left their settled territory, and became residents in areas often far remote from the former. It is separate from the nomadic culture, and more appropriately linked with the creation of a group of refugees. However, while refugees may or may not ultimately settle in a new geographic location, the term diaspora refers to a permanently displaced and relocated collective.

Diasporic cultural development often assumes a different course from that of the population in the original place of settlement. Over time, remotely separated communities tend to vary in culture, traditions, language and other factors. The last vestiges of cultural affiliation in a diaspora is often found in community resistance to language change and in maintenance of traditional religious practice.

Wouldn't that be funny if Borat was exposing something even more relevant - that annual The Running Of The Jews were in fact an ancient, seasonal Atlantian games. Imagine that.. chasing an entire people off like sand whales and roof rabbits. How bizarre.

IF (and I do say "IF" because I don't know) Obama was born in Kenya, I suspect that most of you pro-Obama posters have so little respect for America and its Constitution that you really don't care whether Obama is legitimately in office or not. THAT'S where we disagree. Personally, I wouldn't mind knowing the truth, and you wannabe-clever know-nothing demonizers definitely ain't it!

I wonder if a Truther could get airtime to run their "informercial."

Or how about an anti-war infomercial, do you think they'd be able to buy airtime?

Oh gawd,

Jacksonville (I live here too, RCADE) is such a, um, er, "open minded" ...

Oh geeze...I can't keep up the pretense...

we are the "buckle" in the "bible belt."

We put the "red" in "redneck."

Let's face it...Jacksonville is just "Georgia South."

And yes, I've spent plenty of time there.

ATTENTION.

I want as much focus on this blog as possible when I publish Part 3 of the TerriK Investigation Report, subtitled:

STATE OF HAWAII LAW DEMANDS THAT VITAL RECORDS INFORMATION FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC ALONG WITH ALL RECORDS PERTAINING TO DoH DIRECTOR FUKINO'S JULY 27, 2009 PRESS RELEASE.

Not only has Obama waived privacy interests, the state waived them as well. More important is the fact that state law governs that no privacy interest exception applies when the information requested is required to be released under the UIPA at 92F-12.

The only question is whether Hawaii will obey its own laws.

I will publish this report late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Check this out!

Fairness Doctrine

Can you believe that the Nancy Pelosi's and the Harry Reeds are trying to bring it back?

But, this legislation was brought about because in some places there were limited media sources and could be easily dominated by one side or another.

Is that the case now?

Talk Radio has been tried by the Left, but has failed.

Birther Billboard in Denver.

www.khow.com

The first time I heard about the Birther movement was on the Peter Bowles show, a "slightly" right of center show. Personally, I think he's left of center, but stays to the right to keep the audience.

He's in Denver and has a full spectrum audience.

Anyway, he brought on a guy who brought a lawsuit in Federal Court to get the original Obama birth certificate into the public. It failed.

The first thing I thought, was this guy is a fool. The law is stupid to begin with and if someone is an American citizen for most of his life, he should be able to run for POTUS.

Anyway, this was in Feb, 09 and six months go by, Peter starts talking about it again. He's getting calls from everyone to STFU and go to something of real importance. I thought the same. This is boring.

BUT, Peter brings some interesting questions. It's stuff like

"What is Barry hiding?"
"Did Barry's mother leave the father?"
"Were they married?"
"Did Barack Sr. put Muslim as the religion?"

Then why is Barry hiding so many other documents, like University records?

I don't know... I never would have thought about it, nor do I really care. But, the movement is growing and so many people following it and asking these questions are giving it legitimacy.

I think Barry needs to come clean before this turns in a WaterGate style scandal. All Nixon had to do was admit that he didn't know and when he found out about it, condemn it immediately. It would have been over!!!

If Barry can turn around the economy, all is forgiven.
