Remember-they've been bashing him since he won the election-blaming him for everything wrong with the Government even BEFORE he took Office.

I think OLDWHISKEYSOUR gets it about right. When America is again ignoring the potential, ignoring intelligence, ignoring the outgoing administration, allowing people to take flying lessons but not landing lessons...etc. then another major attack will succeed. I think, in the mean time, it is more likely that anyone trying to commit a major attack will be arrested before they even get close.

They seem to forget we were safe since Pearl Harbor, for over 60 years we haven't had an attack. So then why does everything change, Patriot Act, NSA wiretapping, etc. because of Dick Cheney running the war games on the very same day.

There's been no more 9/11's because the Bush administration got the cooperation of both the Republicans and Democrats in Congress to enact antiterrorist measures to protect us. And they didn't lie anymore to get what they thought was needed (and probably less than LBJ did for his war). Some of these measures probably went too far, others not far enough but they apparently did something right.
