I thought for sure this would be a Buffalo Bob thread.

It was just 800 cases of pig farts that got out of control......

Alien abductions? They got Messkins over there?

Me too. Bob should be here soon.

Me too. Bob should be here soon.

Ever since that alien told him to set the controls for the heart of the sun, he's been stuck in interstellar overdrive. One of these days all of that time he's spent burning his engines will catch up with him and he'll be marooned.

oops... I meant interstellar overdrive

Set your controls for the heart of the Sun.

and be careful with that axe, Eugene.

This is your brain on Pow R Toc H.

And if we're talking about space travel... Astronomy Domine!

It's the Wisgod and Goatman show, new this September on Lifetime.

One's a fat old cheese eating fart.
The other's a fat high-school dropout.

Just out of curiosity, since neither description fits me, which one am I supposed to pretend to be? I want to make sure I play the game right.

Last I heard from you I was a faggot cocksucking oil rig bitch (or something like that). You've got to stop moving the goal posts.

Anyway, which am I supposed to pretend to be -- the cheese guy or the dropout?

I thought for sure this would be a Buffalo Bob thread.

Get real. "thought" doesn't correlate with your "process". You are merely dragging your knuckles and destroying those acrylic.

On September 21 (my anniversary) 2008 I viewed 'something' in moving accross the sky for over 2 minutes that I can't explain.

Goat,

Call me bOoB, but I have seen way too much that doesn't conform to 'earthly' explanations when it comes to UFO sightings.

Call me bOoB, but I have seen way too much that doesn't conform to 'earthly' explanations when it comes to UFO sightings.

Me, too, (well, not 'way too much', but some) but I would add, "known earthly explanations".

I'll never forget the first time I saw the will-o-the-wisp. It sent shivers up my spine and I was sure I had seen a ghost (even skeptical of a person that I am) until I researched and found out what it was.

On September 21 (my anniversary) 2008 I viewed 'something' in moving accross the sky for over 2 minutes that I can't explain.

What time of day?
Which direction?
How fast? (covered x% horizon to horizon distance in y minutes)
General appearance?

Being an amateur astronomer, maybe I can offer an explanation

lsd?

Goat,

It was at dusk.

At first I thought it was an airplane.

It was a light that was moving slowly accross the sky.

The problem was that airplanes have directional lights (think along the lines of a spot-light) this thing was more like a lantern - no matter what the angle, it maintained its brightness even as it was moving away from me. As I studied it, it looked to be oval in shape and vertical (think of a grape tomato) and it appeared to have 2 small wings that seemed to curve downward. Please bear in mind, this light was bright and ANY bright light appears somewhat spindly - draw a picture of the sun and you'll get my drift. As it passed over my house, I had to go inside, briefly, to continue viewing it. I pointed it out to my wife, but she had to quickly retreat indoors as one of my neighbors was walking his dog and my dog hates his dog. I had him look at it and his first reaction was that it was an airplane. However, when I pointed out that it was bright BUT moving AWAY from us AND didn't have those red and green flashing lights, he began to reconsider. What pisses me off is that I took my eyes off of it for all of 2 seconds and it disappeared. It literally vanished. If I had witnessed it speed off at a ridiculous pace WITHOUT creating a sonic boom...but I didn't see how it disappeared. Regardless, it was very strange and even my wife, the biggest skeptic in the world, acknowledged such based upon her limited observations.

Goat,

A buddy of mine opined that it might have been a helicopter, but I have NEVER seen a helicopter as high in the sky as this thing was AND it wasn't making any noise - helicopters are very loud.

There are some irrelevant posts on this thread? Better make sure AndyB62 stays away from here.

Every time he comes across anything irrelevant his face turns red and his head (((explodes))).

JJ: was it dusk or early morning? Did it move in a straight line? Were you, the object, and the sun roughly in the same geometric plane?

Goat,

It was about 8:30 PM on Sept. 21 in Michigan. It was dusk - the sun had already set.

I observed this thing for over 2 minutes - it wasn't a casual glance.

Was it moving from west to east?

Do you have very, very good vision?

Jeff J

I have a friend who is as skeptical as any, and he described a craft that sounded very similar to yours. More vertical than horizontal. He saw it in the day time and didn't describe any lights---but he said he was about a hundred yards from it and it was only about a hundred feet off the ground and moving slowly. He saw it take off, and he said he was stupified at the speed. He said it looked like a special effect.

That people scoff at things they haven't seen is not unusual, and when they show videos of the craft, it is often dismissed as photoshop or some other manipulation. But let me ask you a couple of questions--

What if it's real

What if the videos are legit

He saw it in the day time and didn't describe any lights---but he said he was about a hundred yards from it and it was only about a hundred feet off the ground and moving slowly

If the object had no known features and he didn't know what it was, how could he judge it's distance? I mean he wouldn't know how big it was

BBob,

I am beyond pissed that I took my eyes off of it or a couple of seconds.

I could be far more conclusive if I actually observed HOW it disappeared.

Regardless, it was very strange.

Goat,

It seemed to be the size of a commercial aircraft and seemed to be at roughly the same level in the sky.

What about my questions in #30, jeff? I might know what it is if you answer those.

So, jeff, which direction was it moving and do you have good eyes? I think I know what it was.

One more thing, jeff: What year was this? I can input sep 21 8:30 into a PC program I have and if that object is what I think it is, it will show up.

Anyway, 3 questions:

Good eyes?
Year?
Direction it was moving.

Goat,

It started off at 3 O'clock and moved to 9 O'clock before it disappeared' give or take.

I have 20/20 uncorrected vision.

I presume 12:00 is north? If so, you are saying it moved from east to west.

Darn.

It sounded like the ISS, which I've heard perfect vision can detect their solar arrays on a perfectly clear day. (personally I find that hard to believe, but I can't argue because I no longer have 20/20 eyesight) But it moves from west to east.

But the way it suddenly disappeared as you described is exactly what a satellite will do when it enters the earth's shadow.

Are you sure it wasn't west to east? Or maybe I am confused what you mean 3 and 9 o'clock.

What I said.

Goat,

the 9 to 3 O'clock was strictly from my point of view.

However, if it helps I was facing almost due South when it moved in that direction - it moved from West to East.

It was very strange and I am beyond angry at myself for taking my eyes off of it for a couple of seconds and not observing how it disappeared.

Goat,

I have witnessed satellites before - they are about the size of a star in the sky and move accross the sky at about the pace of an airplane.

This light was much larger in the sky than a satellite.

Me, too, (well, not 'way too much', but some) but I would add, "known earthly explanations".

YOU are going to establish any sighting as an Earthly construct.

Did you even bother to watch the Disclosure Project video as I had asked?

However, if it helps I was facing almost due South when it moved in that direction - it moved from West to East.

Then it may have been the ISS. Was this last year? If you tell me the year, I'll put the data into my Starry Night program and see if the ISS would have been visible from Michigan.

I'm betting that is what it was.

My personal laptop is in my room now and my relief is asleep so I can't get to it. But when I go to bed at 6:00 I'll have access to it and will put in the data. All I need is the year. You already gave me the date and time and location.

This light was much larger in the sky than a satellite.

The ISS is much larger than a conventional satellite.

google images [iss seen from earth] and see if it may have been that.

YOU are going to establish any sighting as an Earthly construct.

Doesn't it make sense to stick to the the most likely candidate before invoking UFOs and breaking laws of physics to provide an explanation?

Or do you find taking that route stupid and prefer to jump to warp drives and almond eyed aliens?

Goat,

It was September 21, 2008.

I live in the southern-middle portion of Michigan.

Googling per your suggestion right now....

It was very strange and I am beyond angry at myself for taking my eyes off of it for a couple of seconds and not observing how it disappeared.
#41 | Posted by JeffJ at 2009-08-18 04:59 AM

Yes, that is the most important part of establishing these sightings as Earthly or not - the exit is quite astonishingly rapid.

I also believe that it's probable we are all still being abducted from our beds. Maybe the Nephilim or Annunaki or Aten who allegedly created us "in their image" have been dealt with and we are being observed to determine if we will take on their destructive nature?

Goat,

I just watched a youtube video.

ISS is definitely a possibility.

I also believe that it's probable we are all still being abducted from our beds.

The abduction thing is creepy.

Too many unrelated people having identical experiences.

No doubt was a UFO scoping out Jeff for future abduction. LOL

Iss passovers are published so you should be able to check it out.Seen it,quite impressive.

Don't let them probe you bro

I would prefer to not get into name-calling if we can avoid it.

The most obvious answer is the easiest - non-Earthly construct. And yes, probably piloted by bugs far more intelligent than the ones controlling our military, banking and governments. As for "breaking" laws - I again claim that our science is childlike in comparison since they are quite logically not from this solar system.

Heavens-above.com is a great place to get ISS flyover data. Their front page has a real time image of where the ISS is at that moment.

Check out their iridium flare predictions as well. Very, very cool to catch one of those.

He'll be unable to move. Plus, traveling at the speed of light they'll be able to work on him forever. lol

They appear to respond to thought. It's freakish, but that's my observation. I have no explanation as to how or why other than our brain compared to radios are replete with cool settings we have yet to comprehend.

Hell, I just went there. Looks like it will be very near here in a few minutes, but it will still be in the earth's shadow, so it will be invisible to me

I am lazy.

Can any of you geeks provide info regarding the likelihood that I saw the ISS based upon the info I provided?

I told you I would at 6:00 when I get access to my laptop at 6:00 this morning

6:00

Call me head of the Department of Redundancy Department. Getting sleepy!

Goat,

I observed this in the range of 8:30-9:00 PM.

I was cooking a VERY late dinner.

Surf and turf - steak and shrimp on the grill.

Uh, oh. That's their favorite meal ... 2nd only to human flesh.

Bet they have your place marked in their GPS (Galactic Positioning System).

I am not 100% sure, but with its constant course corrections, I'm not sure that Starry Night can tell where the ISS was a year ago. Its orbit isn't as stable as the planets.

Jay, you out there? Do you know that answer? The more I think about it, the more I don't think a computer program can give historical data on it because of orbit boosts it makes occasionally

The ISS is direction over me right now according to Heavens-above.com

Not to my knowledge, but how would I know? Maybe everyone is tagged and released and a few are continually monitored?

There are people who describe their sightings that correlate.

I'll be back later.

Come to think of it, last time grays stopped by here they asked, "where. is. jeff? take. us. to. jeff"

I'd had baked beans, cabbage, pickled eggs, and 3 day old pork so they wouldn't want me in the mothership. I held up my left index finger tightly gripped in my right hand and threatened to pull it if they didn't scram. They left at the speed of light.

Hmmm. Maybe it's my own propensity towards gassiness that has kept me from getting abducted all these years, too.

I'm certain it is my love of garlic that has kept me vampire free all this time.

Excellent Pink Floyd references at the top of this thread.

Interesting.. that's worth investigation.

If tagged bodies produce irregularities perhaps garlic interacts poorly with that process?

These crazy myths and stories seem to come back to abduction and trauma.

I also believe that it's probable we are all still being abducted from our beds.

Still sore about that anal probe?

#78 | Posted by ZombieHunter at 2009-08-18 08:25 PM

Not at all. Sore because the vast majority of my fellow humans are dickless fuckwits who won't fess up to the reality of UFO's, aliens and over unity. Otherwise, the event must have been quite unmemorable, perhaps yours included the humor lobotomy entre?:]

Seriously, do they clean those probes often enough or what? Maybe we actually have them already built in and are merely accessed ala USB port?

The purpose of physical interaction appears to pertain a physical exchange. This seems ridiculous with their crazy ray gadgets - why get so touchy-feely? It's often reported that ova and sperm are sampled.
