Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Johnny Isakson, a Republican Senator from Georgia, answered questions from WaPo on health insurance reform.

"I just had a phone call where someone said Sarah Palin's web site had talked about the House bill having death panels on it where people would be euthanized. How someone could take an end of life directive or a living will as that is nuts. You're putting the authority in the individual rather than the government. I don't know how that got so mixed up."

What? There are no death panels? But Sarah said so.

Another female Alaskan Republican politician has also called out Sarah on her "death panels"

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski had this to say "It does us no good to incite fear in people by saying that there's these end-of-life provisions, these death panels," Murkowski, a Republican, said. "Quite honestly, I'm so offended at that terminology because it absolutely isn't (in the bill). There is no reason to gin up fear in the American public by saying things that are not included in the bill."

Does anyone remember when they told us they would not stop anyone for not wearing a seatbelt? At the time they told us that they would only give you a ticket if they stopped you for something else and found that you were not wearing your seatbelt.

Now the put up roadblocks to check for seatbelts.

If you trust them on the "end of life counseling", you are nuts.

Does anyone remember when they told us they would not stop anyone for not wearing a seatbelt?

Or they'd take the tollbooths down once the toll road was paid for? That lie got voters to approve the Dallas N Tollroad 40 years ago. The bonds were paid off 25 years ago and the toll booths are still there.

Palin is the poster child for Republican disfunction.

She embodies the 3 main qualities of the modern Republican party:

1. Dishonesty. Nearly every statement out of her piehole is a damned lie.
2. Stupidity. She revels in being a stupid bitch. Like most Republicans, a sub-75 IQ is a badge of honor, not something to be ashamed of.
3. Prejudice. She is a hate-filled, bitter waste of breath. Her distain for anyone who is not male, white and worth more than $5million is palpable.

Some Republicans actually think Democrats are afraid of this quitter. On the contrary, she is the greatest thing going for the Liberals. Every word out of her mouth means another ten people that will never vote "R" again.
