Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

I was just listening to Obama speak while awarding metals of freedom. The thought that struck me was " this guy should have born a capitalist". With all the opportunities he has had in his life, he never ran a small business or a large business for that matter. He's never created anything. He's spent his whole life inside a closed loop that is made possible by the sweat of others who he sees as his enemies. He was certainly capable of breaking out of the liberal loop but chose not to do so. My question is completely theoretical, but what kind of person would he be if the circumstances of his life had been different?

Bernie Madoff, perhaps. He also believed the collection of more money to pay old debts while creating even larger new debt was legitimate economic planning.

which circumstances? let's narrow it down a little.

That's assuming he still had the looter mentality. Madoff was also a despot that could have also been a great man but chose a different path.

same with george soros.

Soros is different. He's out of the loop. He's in his own class. Can you imagine being rich enough to be able to manipulate governments, currency's and elections?

yes and no.

fyi - stirs - i agree with your comment on what your church does for the children at my last post.
