Obama should concentrate on convincing the public why the detailed structure of his healthcare plan is the correct one. He seems a little too upset that his propaganda machine doesn't control the message everyone sees.

Also says a lot about Obama. Anyone who reguarly reads the Druge Report knows that in the 2008 Presidential Race, just about every story about Obama was positive showing his image in front of massive crows and linking to fawning story after fawning story about Obama. Apparently Obama must have thought Drudge was genius then.

Now that Obama's popularity is crashing hard on the backs of worsening job reports and continuing lies on transparent government and a healthcare nightmare and "stupid" statements against white cops, Drudge is linking to more negative stories and the Obama Administration is pissed off and wants to discredit Drudge.

To me Drudge is an amplifier. If things are going well like things were going for Obama in the '08 elections, he amplifies the good. In my neighborhood, Providence wanted to open an outpatient surgery clinic, about 60,000 square feet.

They were in for city approval. SEIU came out to block the approval. Why? they said that poorer neighborhoods were lacking healthcare and that the dollars for this outpatient surgery clinic should go to poor health care.

Of course they werent successful and the facility is now in operation.

I found this site because Neil Rogers spoke about it as the source for his news reports on air. I was curious and followed the link on his page to here. I think I am one of the few people here who was actively seeing the RETORT and not the REPORT.

During the primary campaign he said many times his preference would be a single-payer system, and that if he could start from scratch that's what he would do. But he also said that given the reality of the situation, that would not be a feasible option.

The way I see it Everlong is that the issues in this country especially this health care plan, are too important for either party to misrepesent it's content.

I think the internet...being emails, blogs etc., is the biggest way to communicate and reaches many more people than normal. If we as a country are receiving false information that would prevent us from something that makes us a better more sound country shouldn't it be stopped...especially when those who are doing the misleading do it in the name of partisanship?

I do not support this health care plan but respect Obama's right to have this plan heard in it's proper context.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've known this all along. During the primary campaign he said many times his preference would be a single-payer system, and that if he could start from scratch that's what he would do. But he also said that given the reality of the situation, that would not be a feasible option.
