Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

In Mobile, Ala., police officers used a Taser and pepper spray on a deaf and mentally disabled man after he did not comply with their order to leave a Dollar General restroom. Even after learning Antonio Love was deaf, they tried to book him on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and failure to obey a police officer, though a magistrate refused to file them.

Hellbound, Letus. That's what you are. LOL

This pretty much sums up the training cops get in psychology and human interaction.

1. Give order

2. Watch for response

3. Over-react in a big way.

1. Deaf
2. Dumb
3. African-American

The cards have obviously been stacked against this poor fellow.
Hopefully, a McLawsuit will tilt the blessings in his favor.

Be Well.

That is incorrect Briwo. Ive gone through an academy and can tell you that instructors have a solid overarching philosophy that they teach to cadets:

1) tase the suspect

2) ??????

3) Profit

Black dude wouldn't listen. The police had no choice.

Los Angeles Ranger

1. Shoot

2. Give order

3. Watch for response

"Black dude wouldn't listen."

It's difficult if one is deaf.

"Los Angeles Ranger"

Never heard of one.

Been to LA once; Shithole can sink into the Pacific at any time; Foul place.

Fucking name dropper.

Good lord how many times are you going to tell us that you shook Mr. Jackson's hand?

How are you ever going to wash that hand again?

Mr. Jackson is a true Texas hero and legend, but your school girl fawning is a bit much.

"Fucking name dropper.

Good lord how many times are you going to tell us that you shook Mr. Jackson's hand?"

At least as many times as the smoked-pot-with-willie-nelson story.

The first sentence from Zat's #17 link:

Kimmie Rhodes' producer and partner Joe Gracey was born at an early age in Ft. Worth, Texas ("Where the West Begins") on November 14, 1950.

I can relate to that because I too was born at an early age.

Racist Cops that not fucking NEWS!!!!!! Every day life to minorities in the Country......

"Good lord how many times are you going to tell us that you shook Mr. Jackson's hand?"

That's RANGER Jackson to you, boy.

Professor Gates only problem at Harvard was that he didn't Kiss the ass of the police officer, this shit happens every day not really news , at least to to the educated......

"non't nase ne, nro"

Hilarious!

Damn taser happy cops!!

When tasers were first "sold" to the public, it was to use as a tool to subdue in lieu of lethal force (gun). But the reality is they will tase you for simple noncompliance to their demands.

At some point, the sheeple might realize being electrocuted by arrogant cops is a fucking disgrace to this so-called free country. I hope this black dude's guardian's sue the balls off these AL rednecks. Maybe this will get some overdue attention within the civil rights arena to this absurd practice.

i take it you consider yourself educated? LOL -- the irony here is that you state this in a nice big run-on sentence with shit for grammar. race baiting racist. police profiling and assuming because a cop doesn't share your color of skin he/she is racist constitutes racism as well, moron.

anyway, it sounds like these cops overstepped the line. i hope the victim gets restitution. screw gates though.

But the reality is they will tase you for simple noncompliance to their demands.

Yep, that about sums it up.

There was an incident a few years ago where the cops stopped and ticketed woman in her car, removed the keys from the car, and then tased her when she refused to exit the vehicle or sign the ticket.

The cops said they were afraid she might run over them so they had to hit her with the taser.

Did I mention the part where the cops had removed the keys from the ignition?

I was at an emergency room last year (back spasms) and saw a lady yelling at a cop for tasing her. Guess she got a little too tipsy that Friday night, maybe smarted off to the cop, who knows. But what I did know was that she was about five-foot-zero and the fag cop was about six-foot-six.

At some point, the sheeple might realize being electrocuted by arrogant cops is a fucking disgrace to this so-called free country.

Man, we aren't going to do a damn thing. Most of us have too much to lose by acting out. Human nature. Hell, I bet if the government started putting minority groups into camps, we still wouldn't do anything.

How did I know this man was black without reading the article?

B-cuz no white man would be named Antonio Love.

Yesterday, on the way home, there was one of those blurbs about "what's gonna be on the news tonight" on the radio.

Investigative reporting. Tasers. Should the public be allowed to have one?

Have you seen any stories lately that would tell that there is an epidemic of tasers being used to commit crime?

Who needs 'em when you have car antennaes?

By the cops, yes, Taser use has become an epidemic.

Actually Gotcha, there used to be a TV wrestling host out of Beckley,WV by the name of Shirley Love. Scrawny little white guy--

"Of crucial importance to Mobile's investigation are what the officers knew and when they knew it, Barber said, because officers are judged according to the facts as they knew them at the time, not the facts as they were discovered in hindsight."

Well they still tried to charge him with resisting arrest and some other things after finding out the guy is deaf and mentally challenged.

So even if they aren't charged with physical abuse its pretty clear that they still vindictively tried to bring false charges on the guy and should be fired for that.

Police abuse their power because their abuses are tolerated.

#1 = funny shit. coffee out the nose time.

what the officers knew and when they knew it,

Guns go boom, donuts are good and pay day is Friday pretty well covers that. I would love to hear somebody actually respond to a cop's "you know why I'm standing here" with "because you got a lot of C's in high school?"

And Letus-LMAO.

IDIOT

Hey, why don't you become a cop and do a better job?

#28 | Posted by Newyawker

I love it how you people hate cops. But I'll bet you would call them in a heartbeat if there was a burgular in your house, or would you handle it yourself?

The fuck I would!
-Mayor McCheese

"But I'll bet you would call them in a heartbeat if there was a burgular in your house, or would you handle it yourself?"

Probably both.

But what's more interesting is that you think you made some kind of point with this question. If my pipes burst, I probably have to call a plumber. If I need a ride to the airport, I'll call a cabbie. If I had rats, I'd call an exterminator. Doesn't mean I like any of these people. I need a job done. The only difference with a cop is that I have to pay for them whether I ever need them or not.

"But I'll bet you would call them in a heartbeat if there was a burgular in your house"

#43 | Posted by chickenrancher

So, my only choices are
1. Let the Cops tase me or anyone else whenever the hell they feel like it.
2. No Police protection for law abiding citizens.

That sounds like a pretty fucked up world you want.

How about a cop who is professional and keeps control of his temper and ego and constantly remembers who it is he is paid by and has sworn to protect.
