Given Senator Jeff Sessions' (R-Alabama) history of baseless assaults on civil rights, one has to wonder whether conservatives chose him as their leading voice on Sotomayor because they fundamentally agree with his lifelong stance on race.

Oh, the ol deflection move.. Sotomayor has problems.. so instead of acknowledging them, let's attack Sessions.

Scripted, pitiful, and stupid.

let's attack Sessions.

Who wants to attack Sessions? The guy is a godsend. Everytime he opens is mouth the DNC slaps it on a direct mail piece and raises a few million dollars to defeat "moderates" in other districts.

The guy a walking ATM for liberals. I hope he keeps his seat forever. He puts the fun in fundraising.

The Republicans apparently believe they can win the presidency without a significant share of the Hispanic vote. Good luck with that.

It's like they wake up every day asking themselves, "What group of future voters can I piss off today?"

Alabama wants to claim that they have come into the 21st century, as long as they reelect Sessions that notion is laughable. The state was/is/and will be home to a bunch or ignorant racists and I'm just glad I don't have to live there.

Electing your messiah is laughable. Quit drinking the bong water.

I really wonder what the nominee, as a Catholic, would say about a pharmacist being forced to provide the morning-after abortion pill?
My bet is she would slam the left on that.
Don't be so hasty to reject her.
