And the fact remains: California is broke so stimulus money was used which means the entire nation paid to bury a pedophile.

I agree. And when you take into account the economic damage the memorial cost! I mean, freeways were shut down, and I am sure traffic was a damned nightmre in the city, worse than usual.

Another problem I have is using gold for the cofin, anyone's cofin. What a waste of a precious metal. What does Michael Jackson need gold for? Is there inflation in the afterlife?

Should be an interesting line of discussion. Just how is the public reimbursed for events at Staples normally? Say for a championship ball game? Does the city always cover this?

Honestly the whole subject needs alot of questions asked. It took alot of organizing to have that event, and somebody somewhere along the way had to be wanting to get paid...
