Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

"We're back, baby!" Such were the words of Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele after being informed that the Republican Party had finished an entire 24-hour cycle without any of its members being caught in an act of adultery, quitting, or being convicted of any type of crime. "This is something we are going to build on," said Steele. "I think the American people can now see we are able to go one full day without anything disastrous happening."

Hey, Doc, how long did you matriculate before completely adopting the Danni Doctrine? It COMPLETELY befuddles me that it's adherents could absolutely hate Palin but be so much in love with garbage like Michael Jackson. Incidently here's a good article that I believe is probably correct regarding Palin:

online.wsj.com

As if there were only one corrupt party:

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) -- From four different angles, jurors saw a former Louisiana congressman accept a suitcase filled with $100,000 on videos played in court Tuesday.

The July 2005 handoff of the suitcase from an FBI cooperating witness to former Rep. William Jefferson, a Democrat who represented parts of New Orleans, is one of the key pieces of evidence in the ongoing bribery trial of Jefferson. He's accused of accepting more than $400,000 in bribes in exchange for brokering business deals in Africa.

Four days after Jefferson picked up the suitcase of cash outside a northern Virginia hotel, FBI agents searched Jefferson's Washington home and found $90,000 of the money hidden in his freezer.

How long until the moronic lefties realize the article is a joke? So far Jizziks, Tarkaniraniaian, and Starvis are fooled. Let's set some sort of record for stupidity here.

Shhhh, don't burst their bubble. They have been doing this for decades. Their idea of facts is anything the wacky left tells them.

How long until the moronic lefties realize the article is a joke?

Apparently, about 33 minutes before your chain got pulled.

That is funny as hell. Thanks for pointing it out Silver. I just skipped it before.

I'm guessing long before Republican diehards like Murphy realize her "I still hate you Sarah palin" article was satire..

What makes this article work is that it is close to reality. If they had quoted mikey Steele as showing Palin some ghetto love, it would have been perfect.

This is the hyterical part IMHO:

(T)he news that no huge scandal had broken in a 24-hour period had the Republican base feeling optimistic about its future.

"If we can go 24 hours, who's to say we can't go 48?" said Republican leader Newt Gingrich. "I'd hesitate to say we could go a week, but we're making progress."

Sorry, but you're the first fool to show up.
Unbelievable!

Something the little ambulance chaser hears from a judge in court at least once or twice a week.

Despite the fact that THIS item was a parody, I suspect that it struck pretty close to home as I'm sure that there are many Republicans out there who have been experiencing a certain level of anxiety as they've turned on their radios, TV's and/or computers every morning.
