Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

During the campaign, I wrote a piece called "Why Won't Obama Talk About Columbia? The years he won't discuss may explain the Ayers tie he keeps lying about." So now, nearly six months into the Obama presidency, the mainstream media has finally done a bit of the candidate background reporting it declined to do during the campaign other than in Wasilla and whaddya know? The New York Times unearthed a 1983 article called, "Breaking the War Mentality," that Columbia student Barack Obama wrote for a campus newspaper. The article shows that Obama dreaded American "militarism" and its "military-industrial interests," while effusing enthusiasm for the dangerously delusional nuclear-freeze movement.

IDIOTIC THREAD OF THE SEASON

The article shows that Obama dreaded American "militarism" and its "military-industrial interests,"

How could anybody dread Halliburton and no bid contracts? $300 hammers?

And he must have enthused Saint Reagan with that delusional idea about nuclear weapons reductions.

Frank-idiotic is too kind to this.

So he was kind of like Ike?

Why won't Obama talk about Columbia?

How does already debunked b.s. about Ayers prove he had anything to do with Columbia?
You guys are REALLY losin' it!

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLosers!

Most of the student radicals of the 1960s and 1970s became insurance salesmen, accountants, office workers. Wonder how many of them dread American "militarism" and its "military-industrial interests.

Well Holy Crap the The New York Times figured out how to do actual news reporting, I guess late is better than never. The NYT could have done a much better job of reporting if thier heads were not burried so far up Obama's Ass...

Obama didn't dodge the draft like Bush and Cheney.

The fact that the author thought his activities amounted to "radicalism" tells more about the author, and what a complete lunatic he is, than it does about Obama.

Perhaps the same author would be willing to do a little research for us on Cheney and his views about S. Africa and Nelson Mandela. Obama will look quite good by comparison.

Obama didn't even bother to register even though he was required to. Bush served but Clinton dodged.

After contacting the Selective Service System for an answer several times since late June, Pajamas Media obtained official confirmation from the Selective Service System via email that Barack Obama did indeed register for the Selective Service as required by law, and is eligible to run for the presidency.

Mr. Owens,

Barack Hussein Obama registered at a post office in Hawaii. The effective registration date was September 4, 1980.

His registration number is 61-1125539-1.

KaBooM!

Do any of us want to be judged forever by how we behaved in college? I don't, and I went before the student riots of the 60's.

"Do any of us want to be judged forever by how we behaved in college?"

I do.

I wish I could get another National Geographic article.

All I can do these days is Archaeology ... www.archaeology.org

"in college"

In the Spring of 1970 I took a Government class and She decided to sit with me.

Damn.

Zatoichi, at least that subject is more immediate in its nature than cap'n crunch trade bills.

I read this thing and he seems to take a "give peace a chance/non-military" tact. I really see nothing controversial about it.
