I think what Madoff did qualifies as violent as much as raping, extorting and robbing qualify for such treatment. Put the bastard among the general population of a max-fac and others might think twice before doing such a scam.

They'd have us believe this guy was so crafty that for years he remained under the radar of the SEC, IRS and all the other regulatory agencies and acted alone in the largest swindle in US history. Not only did the regulators miss it in their regular duties, it is reported that the SEC had numerous complaints 9 years ago!

We know that every wire is monitored to prevent money laundering schemes, but for years nobody caught anything. Also in investigations, it is customary to get cooperation to catch the "big fish" and offer a reduced sentence. Apparently none of that happened here. The SEC officials have no consequences, Madoff is scapegoated and gets a ridiculous 150 years. Where is the serious investigation of the bankers, JP Morgan, Citigroup, BofA and many others that that didn't lose a dime in the scheme and are now in civil litigation for their roles.

If you needed any further proof of all the corruption going on and the role of bankers in our economic collapse, the evidence has been mounting for years.

Eight separate investigations and nothing was proven. The IRS & SEC are part of the revolving DC jobfest. We need to pursue every one of the "investigators", their managing staff and the CEO's of the institutions investigated and jail them for accepting and delivering bribes, extortion and unethical coercion.

We still have zero investigation, let alone any findings as to where, how and whom the Twin Tower vaults were tunneled to and raided.

Even a bioweapon explosion in the stock exchange wouldn't be investigated. We have more luck finding anthrax in the mail.

Well, since this is all for the show - the New York stock exchange would be the obvious bigger bang. There is the added plus that they've already embedded cameras from every major network - making the event very easily "televised". The Fed is amorphous and probably subterranean. They do not have embedded journalism or telecommunications with intrusive or inquisitive outside entities whatsoever. I'd say it's almost worthless symbolically to drive us into another war over over blowing up the stock exchange - everyone wants the NYSE elite lapdogs to "get theirs". We wouldn't weep or mourn for very long at all - in fact, the criticism of their masters "lifestyle" is what every jihad-a-like truly "hates" about America anyway. So, in fact American citizens have a common enemy with the fanatic terrorists - and that enemy will never fall on any sword unless they can profit ridiculously.

As far as evidential value, I was only proposing that just like in Building 17, the Fed might have plenty to hide once the audit bill becomes official. Al-Quaeda couldn't have that.

Deliberately lying and distorting the "information" it airs is not news anymore. The Supreme Court has made it clear that lying and distorting the news is ok and there is nothing we can do about it. Other than point it out as you have.

The question is: Is there anybody that still watches Faux News listening to anyone else?

Sadly no. It depends who "anyone else" is. They certainly aren't watching the even more bought and paid for rag networks. They aren't going out to the alternate media sources for any balance either.
