Gibbs isn't a clown. He's being asked to make unreconcilable claims and support untruths. It may be dawning on the media folks that they have been complicit in their own exploitation. Their "white guilt" may be evanescing. Obama is what he is. A man with an anti-American agenda that will harm the American economy and reduce the standard of living substantially. After all, Obama was mentored for two decades by the vicious America-hating, whitey hating, Jew hating, Rev. Wright whom Obama considered as his friend and guru. This was trivilaized rather than being found disqualifying.

Obama also had communist models of the world and values instilled in him so that he espouses overly simplistic "progressive" policies, where the only reason everyone is not living a sumptuous life in Eden is "the bad guys" being unwilling to distribute wealth. Obama may be getting the lesson that "the wealth" needs to be produced first before distribution. It doesn't magically come into being.

But then, Obama is a psychotic mediocrity, so his ability to do any original thinking is non-existent.

I voted for Obama, and still support him, but I say give 'em hell, Helen. It's a journalist's job to give every administration hell when it's deserved. She's been around the block and knows what she's doing.

Obama's popularity ratings are more than 95%, and he's the greatest oratorical genius since Marc Antony. So why does he have to choreograph a Town Hall meeting?
