I don't really consider myself a zionist just a believer in the OT (and NT). While everyone has focused on the supposed occupation that is purely based on the UN arbitrarily dividing up the land (the most heinous of which is an International Jerusalem), the bigger picture is the question of who has rightful title to the land historically. Arabs own 99% of the Middle East. The Romans took over rightful 'Israel'. Those living in the regions claim Palestine theirs by ancestry but do not acknowledge that their ancestry were immigrants from Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabian and other Arab nations.

To address the humanitarian side, the clear issue of the US's involvement bias is well proven. The motive of the US is multi-faceted. The AIPAC of course is very powerful, further evidenced by the clear action of Israel in the USS Liberty incident. The US allied relationship with Israel has not been a genuine concern (since Truman) for Jewish traditon, perhaps largely because of the USS Liberty incident. Separately, the US has a selfish motive in allying with Israel as it fights for empirial dominance over Arab nations. The fasttracking to globalism is facilitated by Israel's success.

Now, in the BHO Administration, this has clearly changed. Even under Bush, there were numerous calls for division of land peace treaties.

McKinney is drawn to Israel rather than areas where her black brothers and sisters are being victimized by Arab Islamics, such as the Sudan and elsewhere throughout Africa not because she is concerned about "human suffering," but because she and her father are both career anti-Semites, and her hatred of Jews overrides her concern regarding blacks who are suffering death and rape and living in squalor in camps, not cities as the Arabs in Gaza are. Also McKinney's black brothers and sisters are not being supported at anywhere near the level that the people in Gaza are.

McKinney has been a bona fide "disturbed person" during her tenure as Congresswoman as anyone familiar with her pronouncements and actions are is aware, including such misadventures as her assault on the congressional guard. McKinney's "acting out" is nothing new.

Robot, your description of the situation and Israel is provided as if all actions occurred in a vaccuum. You post as if the Israelis initiated hostile action rather than being reactive and being unreasonably reluctant to defend themselves as demonstrated from the delay in response to the thousands of missiles launched from Gaza. As you are undoubtedly aware, the Arabs launched wars against Israel from its creation, and the Arabs refused to accept persons displaced as a result opf aggressive Arab hostility. Contrarily, the Jews accepted Jews expelled from Islamic countries. Instead the Arab powers keep the situation of the Islamics in Isael as a festering distraction from the misgovernance of their own goverments. The best solution would be for the Arabs to repatriate themselves to Saudi Arabia and other Arab lands. Many of the so-called refugees are late-comers, who moved to the region to benefit from the productivity of the Jews, which provided a raised standard of living for them.

Basically, the Jews have been repelling Arab aggression and dealing with Arab intransigence as the Arabs continue to declare their intent to destroy Israel and kill the Jews. You are suggesting that the Jews accommodate them. Not even guilt ridden Jews are that compelled to immolate themselves as a people. Well, most of them won't cooperate in their own destruction anyway.
