What a horrifying series of events are unfolding in Iran. This is pure case of the People fighting for democracy, and being repressed by a violent dictatorial regime intent on keeping power. In many ways the fact that it is an Islamic regime is irrelevant. Dictators clutching to power at all costs. Hungary '56, Prague '68, Tianamen '89, Tehran '09.
