Was 1991 just a dream? Did Iraq not launch rockets into Israel, Saudi Arabia etc.? Other than John Kerry, most believed the thousands of Americans living and working in Kuwait were under threat. That isn't fair logic. There were thousands Americans who lived, worked and owned companies in Kuwait. Should we have simply abandoned the people and the billions invested? Allowed Saddam to take them over? I think we learned a lessen in 1979 about how the ME felt about the US.
