Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton urged President Obama for two days to toughen his language on Iran before he did so, and then was surprised when he condemned Iran's crackdown on demonstrators last week, administration officials say.

The disagreement also gave some insight into the Obama administration's foreign policy decision-making process five months into its term.

Half-assed and inexperienced, as predicted.

Thank God John McCain was there to tell them what to say, though of course it took them a few more days, and few more polls and focus groups to get around to it. Foreign policy on CP Time.

That's what you get for electing Mortimer Snerd....I mean Barack Obama.

Beirut Bonzo would have just shipped them a few thousand TOW missiles and been done with it.

Hillary and Obama are about as on message as Biden and Obama. Makes you wonder if anyone is really in charge of the zoo, and if so, is Michelle is getting enough potassium through various fruits and grasses on a daily basis?

COOKFISH!~!

What a BS title. Being thoughtful and considering the words you choose before you speak them does not make you spineless it makes you intelligent. Being from Philadelphia you wouldn't know what that means. I know all about you loud mouth Philadelphians having lived in Chester county. You all loved running off at the mouth until I rapped those fools upside the head with my knucks. They weren't so badass after that.

A bull shit article from a bull shit newspaper.

Obama handled Iran exactly right and most foreign policy experts, Republicans and Dems agree.

Its funny because just last week there was an extensive (and better attributed) article on how in sync Hillary and Obama were on foreign policy issues.

I guess Rev. Moon missed that one.

"Obama Sharpens Criticism of Iran" Washington Post

"Obama Condemns Iran's Iron Fist Against Protests: Strongest Remarks Yet" New York Times

"Obama Rips Iran in Tactical Shift" Wall Street Journal

"Obama sharpens response on Iran" USA

Each one of these major headlines show that Obama was never consistent in his approach to Iran, and had to change it because he was getting ripped from both sides. Hillary has always had more balls, conviction and spine than the patholigical liar Obama.

Hey Jackass, isn't 'dojo' Japanese for 'glory hole'?

Or does it show that he adjusted his approach based on the escalating conditions in Iran?

Hey Jackass, isn't 'dojo' Japanese for 'glory hole'?

I think it's short for fucking a woman named Josephine. "I do jo"

"Or does it show that he adjusted his approach based on the escalating conditions in Iran?"

It DOES show that....which means he was inconsistent. Hey, you have a great future lookin' at you. If you head for D.C. and become a spin doctor you'll be the equal of Begala, Carville, Gibbs and all the others. However, calling taxes, "investments," has already been used. Don't try to claim that one.

It DOES show that....which means he was inconsistent.

So, by your definition, if someone adjusts their approach to something based on changing circumstances, that is "inconsistency"?

He should be allowed to be indecisive. Afterall, this isn't a crisis like the Stimulus bill or Cap and Trade.

"So, by your definition, if someone adjusts their approach to something based on changing circumstances, that is "inconsistency"?"

Websters on "consistent"....."free from irregularity, variation or contradiction."

Since Obama's statements regarding Iran were NOT free from variation or contradiction, they were NOT consistent...in other words, they were inconsistent.

We can say, of course, that Obama is consistent in that he makes statements in policy that are inconsistent. Do you feel better now?

Actually, I believe the intent of that term is when one randomly changes their approach to a situation that hasn't changed.

But go ahead and continue the game without me now. You're too silly.

This is Bullshit Barry has every right to make adjustments to his foreign policy towards Iran, On the job training takes time after all. I might also add Changing your Changes keeps countries like Iran guessing at our strategy, hell we don't even know what it is, and it will take Barry some time to reach a consensus in the polls so he will know what to do next...

Oh yes we can...

So, by your definition, if someone adjusts their approach to something based on changing circumstances, that is "inconsistency"?

They never STOPPED beating and shooting the protesters, you nozzle, and they ended up blaming it on US intervention anyway, didn't they? I said he was never consistent, and you just backed me up by saying he "adjusts" his approach. That does NOT imply consistency, does it? LOL. So Obama was by definition WEAK and CYNICAL over the whole thing all along. Thank God McCain and Hillary were there to tell him what to say. Just a shame he waited until days later, which is the point you deliberately miss by a mile. Not surprised, though.

Gosh, Obama is a dummy, and a sick one at that, who is also confused by his Islamic roots, and his indoctrination with communist values as a child. It's difficult for homeboy to make decisions in matters which are not clearly delineated in his mind as "progressive" or "non-progressive."

Homeboy's model of the world and world view are bound to confuse him since the world is not as simplistic and Muhammed and Marx depicted it to be.

Obama's skill was at reading a speech on a teleprompter that had been prepared by someone else. His extemperaneous thoughts are "Er, ah, um." Bill Ayers seems to have written his first well articulated book for him as indicated by vocabulary, style, and particular phraseology. Obama's own writings indicate mediocrity with such gaffes on submitted peapers as disgreement between noun and verb. But this person's inadequacies were trivialized or concealed. Remember that his background is that of street agitator with "a foe" against whom to righteously play the "progressive" theme, and a man whose chosen mentor for some two decades was a virulent racist hate-mongering bigot, Rev. Wright, who espoused hatred of America, whites, and Jews. This central factor in Obama's life was summarily dismissed. At best it should have indicated poor judgment. But blacks are given "passes" and not expected to meet overall "community standards" of behavior. So, we've got an inept psychotic as President. Good luck to us.

ha ha......

I fucking love your angst.

Bet you vote next time racists!!!!

When he finally took her advice, the aides said, he did so without informing her first.

Why would obama need to inform hillary that he was taking her advice.

Hillary begs

now that would be a sight to see.

OH come on you already know the answer to that question, Hillary has BIGGER BALLS...

DISSENSION ON THE HOME TEAM

and she has a point...did ANYONE ever think that hillary might be the moderate voice in this administration???

anyway...iran was on the brink of being changed maybe forever and obama sat on his hands instead of comeing out and telling the world that we stood by them in thier thirst for democracy and freedom and what was his answer

well he didnt want to look like he was meddling and he was afraid that the mullahs would use his comments against the people
AND he said that right before the mullahs said THAT ANYWAY...

and it was US here on the right who was concerned about his lack of experience since he was a community organizer and a do nothing senator

BOTTOM LINE...millions of people in Isreal may be in trouble because of inaction by obama......

Fuck you.

LET

was that aimed at someone or just a general good old '
fuck you' at noone in particualar

feels good to just blast that out sometimes doesnt it??? LOL

See, told you he was doing the right thing.

Iran ain't gonna attack shit. This is a rouge designed by the jews to divert our attention from what they are doing to our banking system.

Don't forget, war = money. Threats of war also = money.

"This is a rouge designed by the jews to ...."

There you go again...

You almost make it sound like there aren't, if what you is true (I find it persuasive... convincing is another story), just as many if not more of the goyim who are 110% on board with this, as well as being participants from the conceptual and planning stages.

But that aside, war and threat of war always equal big $$ for someone, somewhere.

Haggie, you are right, I shouldn't have said Jews, I should have said Zionists, but that concept is hard for the general public to understand.

Here is the zionist credo...'I'm gonna kill you, for no reason, before you have a chance to kill me because I'm getting ready to do something that will make you want to kill me.'

And let's be clear about one thing. It's all about killing for money. War = money, War = killing, so therefore, killing = money. Especially when you are killing people that are preventing the free flow of oil.

Ever stop and wonder why China and India, who between them have two-thirds of the earths population, don't seem to be involved in all these zionists plots?

Let's go to the map again.

www.worldatlas.com

Find Iraq (where the new oil is). Find india and china (where the new demand is). Look what stands between them - IRAN.

America cannot, by law, do anything with Iran, so we let our Eastern America province (Israel) provide the antagonism.

"Here is the zionist credo...'I'm gonna kill you, for no reason, before you have a chance to kill me because I'm getting ready to do something that will make you want to kill me.' "

That made me laugh. Almost sounds like my brother's motto in life.

"America cannot, by law, do anything with Iran, so we let our Eastern America province (Israel) provide the antagonism."

This I can totally see.
