Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Wednesday, July 01, 2009

Sen. Daniel K. Inouye's staff contacted federal regulators last fall to ask about the bailout application of an ailing Hawaii bank that he had helped to establish and where he has invested the bulk of his personal wealth.

The bank, Central Pacific Financial, was an unlikely candidate for a program designed by the Treasury Department to bolster healthy banks. The firm's losses were depleting its capital reserves. Its primary regulator, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., already had decided that it didn't meet the criteria for receiving a favorable recommendation and had forwarded the application to a council that reviewed marginal cases, according to agency documents.

GO TO A TEA PARTY ON THE FOURTH! GET INVOLVED!

The word is "Reeks".

And I think this incident should be investigated thoroughly. It looks pretty shady to me.

Last year, in the final year of Bush's presidency, Beck penned an op-ed about how Americans should celebrate July 4 by talking not about "our problems," but by celebrating "what's right about America." Beck also downplayed the "much maligned economy" under Bush, and told readers that the media should use Independence Day to take a break from reporting on "crooked politicians" or "high gas prices."

You Silly Bitchs! Can you dumb Fucks stick to SINGLE "principle"?

he's going to stroke out - he should take better care of himself - not get so riled up.

Excellent post/link Redneckville.

And it was you NANC who veered off subject with your tea party remark. I thought those things were supposed to be nonpartisan?

According to my calculations, we still have 49 years and 6 months to appraise the Bush Administration.
This is of course based on your very own parties assertion that it's "50 Years to Judge" a president (doink).

Or are you hoping people would forget that as well as last years wingding meme that people should stop bitching about how miserable Bush in favor of celebrating what is good in America on the 4th!

So what's changed? Oh, that's right --- you lost. And where is the "principle" in all this? No Where to Be Found!

What a sad bunch of unprincipled fuckity-fucks you people are!

oh, almost forgot - if you don't have more pressing plans - please think about attending a TEA PARTY on the fourth!

Oops! RedNeck makes another boo-boo!

I've already judged the Bush admin as a complete and total failure.

So take your unprincipled straw man and shove it up your ass.

It's so fucking pathetic and transparent.

Some dem "may" or may not be in trouble here, and all RedNeck can do is talk about Bush.

Compare that with SanAntonionRogue, who has a spine, who simply calls for an investigation, to hold his leaders accountable.

RedNeck on the other hand posts a bunch of deflections and straw men, and then has the nerve to go on about principles. What a fucking joke!

i began judging the bush admin in 2005 quite harshly - many conservative www acquaintances would send me emails telling me to not be so hard on them in public - i told them to stack beebees - if we were going to hold the other side accountable, then we should begin with cleaning our own houses.

Thanks LoD. I think everyone is sick and tired of so many elected officials of both parties taking advantage for personal gain and worrying more about that than looking out for us.

I'm not into partisan witch hunts, but when there is reasonable evidence about any politician (Cong. Jefferson, for example) then I say go get 'em.

I agree. Sanan if pretty far left, but he seems to be the least knee-jerkiest of the left crowd here. I butt heads with him a lot, but of all the lefties, I enjoy his posts the most.

Redneckshill? He's always the same and very predictible. Who needs to read that kind of shit?

Can you dumb Fucks stick to SINGLE "principle"?

Agreed, and the game of pointing at the other party every time a single politician gets caught just enables them.

I tried to post this same story without even mentioning the guy's party because I KNEW it would devolve into partisan sniping.

lod - i only put "dem" into the title as a jab to those who love to put "rethug" or some other slight against conservatives or christians into their titles - i know...tit for tat doesn't always work in one's favor - my apology.

Maybe this is similar to Halliburtons relationship to Cheney --- you know, that "NonIssue" from years past!

How does a link to a comments page make me wrong???

I love Redneckville. There are millions of libtards just like him, across the land, who will put up with absolutely anything as long as the guy screwing them has a (D) after his name.
We've just shoveled trillions of taxpayer dollars down a black hole, and he doesn't care. Now, he'll be back shortly to say that it's okay to do so, because of Iraq. Or something.
Funnier than TV. And Obama's biggest voting block: stupid dumbasses.

So run St. Sarah in '12 and quit yer whinin.

It's almost as if there isn't a story posted at the top of this thread.

#29 | Posted by prozacboi

i posted it AND made some, if not MOST of the comments condemning sanford. i DON'T play favorites.

#33 - LMBO! FF THAT!

trying to keep the rednecks of the world in check and on topic is like trying to herd dust bunnies.

And where exactly did I state that....hint....I didn't because nanc took off on a tangent and started flat out lying(as are you) which is the only thing I addressed.

what have i lied about here, prozac? perhaps you should up your dosage.

Your lied about not playing favorites for one...boy that's a good one about the dosage, never heard that one, duhhhhhhh.

And BTW what exactly was I wrong about when you post "wrong prozacboi"?

if you cannot follow a simple link to where i put mark sanford on the hotseat and then held my ground against him to other conservatives, you have a serious p.c. problem. perhaps you should add some ritalin to your prozac?

Putting someone on the "hotseat" that clearly deserves it proves nothing.Your constant "the left sucks this" and 'the left sucks that" shows you do in fact play favorites, just like GOATMANure.

Perhaps you should practice on your debate skills so you can actually prove your point and won't have to rely on juvenile insults.

#44 - if you and i disagree on an issue, then of course i'll play to my side - same as you do. i don't have a problem calling a shovel a shovel.
