The real poll is next year's congressional elections. I will be very interested to see what happens then, especially in the liberal wastelands like Michigan and California.

Look for the negative numbers to increase unless Obama starts implementing his campaign promises and not pissing all over everyone that voted for him.

My question about the next elections is whether people wanted Obama's policies or will reject them at the polls. It will be interesting to see.

If that were the case, Kerry would have won. He ran as "not George" and he still lost.

Now the answer could be that McCain looked like a senile dottering old fool and that why he lost.

But Obama campaign on icreasing transparency which he has made a vague attempt at, and change.

Now one could argue that "change" was meant to be Dem vs Repub, but his campaign pushed a total change in the way government was run. That the people would have the power.

He has yet to deliver.

If he doesn't he will be a one termer.

As I said, 726, the next election will answer many questions along those lines. Maybe you are right. I sure find it difficult these days to measure what people are thinking about these things.
