The average spread is +25, Repubmussen has it at +9. On the generic ballot, the average is +10 for Dems, Repubmussen has it at +2.

Yes, we have water distillers on board. The water is heated by the waste heat of the diesel engines that power our generators.

Funny story -- When we were towed to Brazil last year it was determined that since we would have only one of 7 engines running (it takes more while drilling, of course, but not much to 'keep the lights on') we wouldn't be able to produce enough water. It takes the heat from 2 engines to make enough water.

So they installed 2 large 480 VAC three phase water 'preheaters' at a cost of $60,000

Right now the fishing isn't so good. The water turned a weird sickly green a few days ago instead of its usual beautiful blue. I checked the NOAA site and it was as I suspected: A loop current was carrying the effluvia from the Mississippi straight at us. So we are in a dead zone (at least near the surface) as far as fishing goes for at least a couple of more days. These loop currents move along.

Given the fact that nobody is ever happy with your site moderation, I'd say you are doing a very good job in that regard. I am serious. Opinions vary widely regarding site moderation and if any of the more extreme factions were REAL happy, I'd say you've schewed too far in one direction.

However, it gets a bit difficult to push the envelope when your moderation - which really is fair, btw - can be so mercurial.

I know it's difficult and I recognize that sometimes inconsistency is needed when things start to get out of hand. I am just saying that it's a bit vague and arbitrary - although that may be as good as is truly feasible given how subjective moderation can be.

The only thing that worrries me is that some of you will read this and see that I acually wasted 30 mins of my life watching ANOTHER show on the freak
