I know there are laws against doctor shopping and the pharmacies keep track of drugs--that is why when someone is abusing they will go to several stores for drugs.

(I handled a lawsuit for fraud and the gal was going to 18 different stores to get her viki pills).

But isn't there a law for one person to rack up 100,000 in drugs and get a lawsuit and the friggin DA isn't the least bit interested?

It wasn't so much that Rush was "hillbilly heroin" addict so much as it was the hypocrisy of his stand on harsh penalties for drug violations before his bust and his subsequent rationalisations on his behalf after sed event.

They all alter our body chemistry. Had a 39 yo friend die in her sleep, cause.......... interaction of prescribed meds........

I'm too old to have really followed his career but he had a family who loved him and looks like he was a very sad and insecure person. My deepest sympathy to his family and real friends.
