Contrary to President Barack Obama's goal of reducing dependence on overseas energy suppliers, the bill would incent U.S. refiners to import more fuel, said Clayton Mahaffey, an analyst at RedChip Cos. in Maitland, Florida.

THANKS OBAMA/GOD...

Maybe people can wake up and stop relying on a LIMITED resource for energy. Then we can start using RENEWABLE resources.

Yes this all started with "carbon dioxide spewed from their plants and from vehicles when motorists burn their fuel" being informed and well balanced I know that methane is at least 40 times worse than CO2 so where is Barry with the FART TAX...

It's a scam, a huge, great big SCAM! It's ironic that we're among the last countries to realize it.

Interesting to see that the forces of evil are going all out to promote the Cap in Trade bill. The reason.. sensible people are asking the inconvenient questions.. like, where's the evidence that climate change is human caused, or that capping the US carbon emissions will have any measurable impact?

The answer, as usual is to demonize the questioners, not answer the question.

Stop Cap in Trade.

Japanese environmental physical chemist who contributed to a U.N. climate report, dubs man-made warming "the worst scientific scandal in history." Norway's Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for physics, decries it as the "new religion." A group of 54 noted physicists, led by Princeton's Will Happer, is demanding the American Physical Society revise its position that the science is settled.

To sumerize the Goreacle is full of CRAP...

We Need to Drill Alaska -------- So More Oil can be Sold to Japan while the Oil Industry Idles Refineries Here!

Stay the Course!

The kool aid is alot like meth in the way it effects brain activity, he's probably doing good just to tie his shoes that are made in China...

No-lose trading strategy during the Obama Administration:

1. Sell short American manufacturers and energy consumers and producers
2. Use the money to go long Mexican, Chinese, and Brazilian manufacturers, energy consumers, and energy producers.

America's biggest oil companies will probably cope with U.S. carbon legislation by closing fuel plants, cutting capital spending and increasing imports.
So.... increasing imports will cut our dependence on foreign oil? Obama???

This is where most people have a conflict with logic, Obama axed "who do you believe me or your own eyes" he already knows at least %51 will say "yes master we believe you oh great one"...

I'm still adding more ExxonMobil stock to my portfolio.

"Maybe people can wake up and stop relying on a LIMITED resource for energy. Then we can start using RENEWABLE resources."

Not teasing or dissin', salary, but the first law of thermodynamics is energy can not be created, only released. That was posited by one of those evil, anti-scientific Catholics, Enrico Fermi.
Ergo: any energy source is limited.
Think about that and the whole "green" myth dissolves.

Hope and change

SUCKERS

I hope you all will be able to afford your cooling and heating bills.

Then we can start using RENEWABLE resources.

They wont. The next winter, you will see oceans of poor crying that they can't afford heat - assuming you don't see them crying this summer they can't afford air conditioning. Then they will demand that the people who can afford to pay the tax pay it on their behalf so they can be heated or cooled. You will learn that heating and cooling is a "fundamental right" - like health care. People will misapply the Declaration of Independence...as though it were law or even of legal significance - crying that they can't "pursue happiness" if they are cold or hot.

Wait and see. The government will then come in with a "single pay" option to get the government to provide this sort of thing at bargain basement prices...paid for by everyone else...then it will be an entitlement.
