Children only wanted Michael because he was like them childlike. This is not to excuse his darker behavior. But again as I said, We created Michael Jackson.

First thing to go on a Dell laptop is the keyboard. Best keyboards are on ThinkPads, and for a desktop I actually recommend Microsoft Comfort Curve.

I've heard good things about Toshiba. I have enough safety points saved at work that I can cash them in for a $1,200 Walmart gift card and buy one. I hate to get a new laptop when this one is only six months old, but the keyboard drives me crazy. But the new one would be basically free, so I'll probably do it and give the Dell to my son who wanted one to take offshore for internet access.

4-5 hours. But beware -- that three hours they quote is an optimum figure. Wireless turned off, screen brightness to lowest, little disk access, etc. In reality if using wireless, expect 1.5-2 hours.

The Dell I was bitching about earlier advertised their extended batter which I paid $150 extra for would last 7 hours. I knew it wouldn't with my usage, but it is still handy. I get about 4-5 hours out if it using wireless. Pretty much the only time I do that is when I'm at the airport or hotel every two weeks during crew change.

Well, Jackass hasn't done anything to me personally. Plus, I just have the feeling he likes to throw out outrageous statements (like about the hookers in TJ, stuff about how he treats his dates, etc.) just to see what reaction he can get from others.
