At least 72 people have been killed by a bomb blast in a market in the Iraqi capital Baghdad. The blast shook the predominantly Shia district of Sadr City, a slum that is home to supporters of the firebrand cleric Moqtada al-Sadr. An official at the Iraqi interior ministry said that more than 100 people were injured in the attack in a crowded market in the slum district.

Obama's fault.

"The rickshaw was full of explosives, covered by vegetables,"

Salad ala bombe surprise!

"covered by vegetables"

Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin were visiting Iraq?

I told my mom growing up that vegetables were not good for you.

Sure looks like the saudistanis don't want the US to stop protecting their sunni jihadists though.

Expect to see a lot of dead sunnis showing up in the dumpsters (again) starting in July.

As it says in the Koran, paybacks are indeed a female dog.

That's Afghanistan.

I think it applies.

yeah, why can't they just walk into a place of worship and shoot somebody like a christian hero would? I'm guessing they learned the art of blowing up shoppers from the good catholics of the IRA.

North...been there done that...and would happily do it again if I was not fking old.

They said the same thing about Nam. Thousands died for that bullshit then, and thousands more die for it now. We can't fix their problems--we are having a hard enough time trying to fix our own mess.

Right you are BB. Except, Obama isn't interested in fixing anything. His policies are in the process of destroying our economy. The stimulus has been a failure, the national debt has doubled in less than half a year, and inflation is right around the corner. How's that hope and change working for you?

Republican4ever

I guess you think Obama should have just gone on vacation like our last president. Facts are, the stimulus IS working, the economy will recover withing a year, he has plans to reduce the national debt and is working on health care. You cry before you are hurt. Obama will be re-elected with even a larger majority in 2012.

Obama will be re-elected with even a larger majority in 2012.

With 3.5 years to go, how can you say that? Carter and Bush 41 were saying the same thing, you know. Did those lunar factory workers tell you this?

You claim success before we even see positive results. That is every bit as unreasonable. But as noted earlier, we expect the double standard from you, bOoB
