Does anyone know where John Ensign's mistress is?

Well, now, that's a mite embarrassin'.

www.fox5vegas.com

This is an odd story. We know he lost his battle at refusing the stimulus money by the legislature there, insomuch that the question was raised, what is the point of having a governor then? The Lt gov says he was not given charge? His wife has a cover story that he just had to get away from his kids to write? There's obviously more to this story upcoming....

If he's a Dem-he's holed up somewhere with his Girlfriend...
If he's an rtard-he's holed up with some dude he picked up in an Airport Restroom.
Or a Young Boy he just "bought" from a pimp.

Check substance abues centers and rehab institutes. Also mental health facilities.

Just a shot in the dark.

now if we could just get the rest of the political leaders 'to just get lost' we'd have a chance

If he's a FrankF55, he's molesting an insect.

I happen to have a copy of that 'writing' (in the style of sam kinnison);

Dear Jenny, I fuckin' hate you, oooooooooo, ooooooooooo, oooooooooooooooooooo. Those kids are driving me crazy. I'd rather be cornholed on the SC senate floor by a democrat than spend one more minute with you or them. oooooooooo oooooooooooooooo. ooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooo.

Mark

That should happen to all politicians. They should just go away.

They found him already.

He was behind the couch all the time.

"Most mobile phones cannot be tracked if they are turned off."
www.thestate.com

No shit!

The only sure way to stop tracking is to pull the battery on a cell.

When that Georgia prof who killed his wife and two others was on the run, the police got the cell phone company to try and turn on his phone remotely so they could find him.

If he's a lawmaker someone should check the neighbors garbage bins..seems to be going around lately.

Everybody is somewhere all the time.

My guess is Larry's basement.

He was abducted by aliens, illegal aliens. They were driving little tacos. They want to start their own franchise called McVato Bell, ain't dat roight ese?

LOL!!!! Yav, when trying to call someone stupid, it's usually best to know how. The word you're looking for is vaunted

Egads. I did use "vaulted" didn't I?!! You catching that gave us both a good chuckle.

BTWm, I didn't call him stupid. Actually stupid isn't even something I'd considered. I consider him extremely irresponsible and doing this kind of thing doesn't help him towards being viewed as a dependable candidate for President of the United States.

Now that you mention it, maybe he really is stupid. Hm.

Gone Hiking: Missing S.C. Governor Found

abcnews.go.com

This is a weird story. If he's on a hiking trip, why did his wife not know where he was? What father of four would go on a hiking trip and not tell his wife where he was going?

This sounds like a coverup to hide some kind of rehab or a nervous breakdown.

His wife not knowing really stood out to me also.

Sam Houston, the first president of Texas before it made the mistake of joining the United States, disappeared for a long time after taking office. He spent it drunk on Indian land.
No laws were approved, the government was logjammed. I am sure editors were aghast.
Would we had decent representation like that now.

SC's governor disappears mysteriously?

Shades of Agatha Christie!

Be Well.

Rogers - I agree this is mysterious. It reminds of Rodney Dangerfield's strange experience one day as he got home from work a little earlier than usual. He noticed there was a man jogging naked in front of his house.

Rodney shouted "Hey ! Why are you jogging naked in front of my house?"

The man replied "Because YOU came home early!"

I tell you - no respect.

The courts forced him to take the stimulus money... so he did. Last seen walking into a bank in Lucerne.

Most mobile phones can be tracked or turned on remotely until you take the battery out.

I want to by cynical about it too, but...

I'm the Republican Governor who just attempted to refuse a large chunk of cash for my state. Some people may not be too happy with that. Aww, shucks, I'm going for a hike to clear my mind.

Now, given that and the remote area he may be in, do you think it would be a great idea to take his security detail?

Without said security detail, do you think it's a great idea to tell everyone where you're going?

I guess you forgot about Barney Frank?

Prolly having buttsecks with Charlie Crist.

Hiking the Apalachian Trail, which some stimulus money was allocated for BTW. I think guys like him should steer clear of any of the many old WPA projects too. Won't be too many national parks, etc. that they can go to and still be right wing PC.

may be more to this story but the lt governor said something stupid this morning...or his quote was..he said something about how bad this was for the state and that what if they had an emergency

well..duh...uh...I believe that would come under the heading of YOUR JOB DISCRIPTION mister lt governor

i duNNo aBout that LooTENunt GUBINADORATOR out there. in sOuth CARoLIna but he SOUNDS STOOPID

well I see that you didnt take my advice from the other thread that you threw this out on.
maybe you need to go on a break with sanford

Hey I KNOW...come down here, I know a lot of SHORT piers that you can take a LONG walk on.

Like this is really anyone's business????? I doubt very seriously that he was totally 'missing'.. sounds like someone was really hurting for a story or some other pol really needed some press coverage 'el cheapo'...

it was a chance for the dems there to make up some shit to use even though he isnt running again.
the problem is that his own wife apparently didnt know which is a little on the 'fishy' side..wouldnt you think??

Considering that much of the maintenance done on the AT is done by members of the AT Conferences who are sponsored by those big, mean corporations you hate some much.

I think Sanford has paid his fair share of taxes to be allowed to use the AT. Since the 650k that was allotted for the trail hasn't be dolled out yet, he's not a hypocrite. Yet.

What I'd like to know is how is this money going to stimulate the economy. Since a great deal of the work on the trail is done by volunteers, who's getting paid?

And Danni, since you obviously get your talking points from HuffPo, could to tell me when Sanford became a 2012 Presidential hopeful?

Do you folks have some inside information that even South Carolinian don't have?

"Considering that much of the maintenance done on the AT is done by members of the AT Conferences who are sponsored by those big, mean corporations you hate some much."

Well, not qite. The AT's management is done "in conjunction with a wide range of partners, including the National park Service Appalachian Trail Park Office, U.S. Forest Service, 14 states, and 30 Trail-maintaining clubs." You're probably thinking of the corporate sponsorships, which include such operations as L.L. Bean, Aveda, REI and Harney & Sons Tea (www.drudge.com). See also www.appalachiantrail.org I only did a quick run through but didn't spot Halliburton, Ratheon, and the like.

After a recent poll, they decided to change the headline to "No One Knows Where South Carolina's Governor Is" upon learning no one actually "misses" him.

Miss Teen South Carolina was RIGHT. Such as, many U.S. Americans don't have maps and can't find the Iraq. Now, such as, they can't find their Governor

You missed Bank of America and the Power company that are sponsors.

There are only a few places where the AT runs through a National Park where the park service is responsible for maintenance. Even then, volunteers work on the trails.

Which doesn't change the point that much of the work physically done on the trails comes from volunteer groups.

Don't you mean closeted GOP Presidential potentials?

he was "hiking"? Isn't that what got Foley in trouble?

California is "missing" a Governor too - I mean a "real" Governor!!!

Car believed to be Sanford's found at South Carolina airport

politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com

Actually, Sanford wasn't hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Guess where the wires say he actually went?

ARGENTINA!
