Does anyone know why the PGA or the USGA does not allow a SHOTGUN start for the playing of the number one GOLF Tournament in the World, THE U.S. OPEN????

This Tournament this year is just not fair, one group has played nearly two rounds in CLEAR an SUNNY while the other has to play in WIND AN RAIN so bad that the tournament was shut down after 6 holes....

There are Four tournaments all year that the real Sport fan is interested in an the U.S. Open is one. Everyone need to be playing the same Course at the same time, this just isn't Fair....These pompous Ass that run the USGA need to get with the Program...SHOTGUN START FOR ALL THE MAJORS!

I have worked the houston open three times and the champions tour three times and I can tell you that the people doing the real work...volunteers...would like that too, but as in most things your question would probably be better answered by tv..

as far as the conditions...thats just the way it is

whats really a problem for some is the usga does not allow for pick clean and place and the other day it was REALLY not fair for the ones playing when it really detoriated.
also the changing conditions is one reason that the first day if you tee off in the morning, the next day you will tee off in the afternoon so its luck of the draw usually.

Celisary...there is no Formula One without the participation of teams like Ferrari, Williams, Lola, etc. Nearly all of the design features of a F430 came directly from technology generated by their Formula One team. A spending cap kills any real competition between manufacturers and creates a situation not unlike what brought about the IRL. The Indy Racing League is a glorified Barber/Saab buy-a-ride for people with money looking to buy their way into racing.
