Meanwhile the bailout bankers are still pillaging your futures, and your children's futures away.

Every US citizen now owes uncle sam 200,000$ plus interest.
I can think of many billionaires that need hang'n.

I hope I'm named in this guy's Will.

Phil Spector feels less lonely now.

Bernie?
Sanford?

Moustafa's lawyer told reporters outside the courtroom that he will appeal the conviction, saying there was "a one million percent guarantee" the sentence would be overturned.

Egypt, billionaire, death sentence, only the Grand Mufti can overrule it...

I think the Grand Mufti just hit a big jackpot.

So Egyptian Courts are less class conscious than US Courts? Pathetic.

But Musharif, Netanyahu, Putin and Obama to name just a few can murder with impunity.

Baksheesh usually rules how situations like this are ultimately resolved. So, I wouldn't be surprised if the Billionaire prevails in overturning the sentence. Either that or he manages to escape from prison before he can be executed.

But Musharif, Netanyahu, Putin and Obama to name just a few can murder with impunity.

Who did Mushi murder???

I think the Grand Mufti just hit a big jackpot.

I think the Grand Mufti is incorruptible.

Quote: I think the Grand Mufti is incorruptible. End Quote

If you believe that, then I know where you can buy some ideal building property down in the middle of the Florida Everglades...Ha Ha Ha...In most Islam dominated countries, bribery isn't considered a crime. It's just business as usual...

Just like US senate/congress? LOL

I think the Grand Mufti is incorruptible.

If so, who does the guy pay off to save his life?

You can't go around executing perfectly good billionaires.

What's the sense in that?

There's big money to be made by someone in exchange for this guy's life.

Thing is... this guy is too big. If anyone lets him go, that person will be tarnished. Everyone will assume a bribe even if none was given/taken.

Spotlight's too bright. This guy is toast.

I don't know how Egypt's system works... I don't even know what a "Grand Mufti" is.

In Pakistan, only the President or the Governor can call off an execution. And usually they never do.. though I think Mushi did it once.

Who Did Mushi Murder?

Some people say the hit on BB was forced by the Chaudhrys (hated her, scared of her bringing Tindoo back), using Musharraf's ISI connections (two ISI serving brigadiers are said to have been involved), and carried on with the connivance of Zardari who she had sidelined.

Plus there was Bugti as well; we can control the fall out but it doesn't mean it should have been done. My personal opinion is that it was an accident. The forces heard of some high value target, went to take it out and it ended up being Bugti himself.

Plus there was Bugti as well

Bugti started rocketing and bombing govt. installations and went on a private little war of his own.

When the fighting escalated, he got caught in the middle and went to Hell.

If Mushi had been guilty there has been plenty of opportunity to drag him to court and have him executed.

Anybody who thinks he is guilty is welcome to try.

Brigadier Ijaz Shah and Brigadier Riaz Chibb are fingered. Plus we all know that Mushi had his own little contacts within the Fata region.

Read the Second Paragraph of the Book Review

Yeah yeah... if they are serious, then please do take Mushi to court and have him executed.

Daily Times and Najam Sethi... LOL

Nah; Najam Sethi has some balls. Its too bad Salman Taseer cut them off.

But yeah; like any body in the Pak gov would let Chaudhry Iftikhar any where near an inquiry into Bhutto's case; thats the real LOL.

I have my doubts about who did it; but Al Qaeda (through Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, mebbe) rather than Baitullah come to mind. Number 2 on the suspect list would be that little group up there.

Way, way down there would be Baitullah Mehsud's men.

Najam Sethi did once have cojones. He took part in the Baloch insurgency of the 1970's, along with Ahmed Rashid and a bunch of Punjabi socialists. There was this son of an Air Force officer from Punjab who became a really famous commander in the Baloch mountains.

None of these guys really talk about it now.

Obviously.

By the little group I mean the Chaudhrys using Mushi and Zardari.

There were all those rumours about a last call on BB's cell phone and mebbe Zardari saying, "BB your supporters are there, please do wave."

A refreshing change of pace compared to the land of capitalism and rich oligarchs (i.e. the USA).

You would never ever have a billionaire sentenced to death in the USA. Our politicians respect the ultra rich even if they don't deserve the respect of our country.

Najam Sethi has some balls. Its too bad Salman Taseer cut them off.

And knowing Salman Tasser, he is never going to get his balls back.

along with Ahmed Rashid

What? THAT Ahmed Rashid? The guy who writes for the BBC?

Bastard! I knew there was something wrong with that guy!

We all know Zardari did his wife in.. somehow.

In the USA he woulda got 30 days and a lifetime suspended license

too bad
Darkstar

Didn't I read about a man who got one year for raping a four year old?

I meant, of course, in the USA.

So since he couldn't have her to marry --he had her throat slit?
