I remember prior to the election there was all the gossip and rumors Michele Obama was going to "take over" and be almost a "co-President" and blah blah blah.

True, Hillary was much more involved in behind the scenes policies but -- admit it -- Michele Obama appears to be doing no more, or less, than any other First Lady. To use as a couple of examples, I linked these stories below about George and Laura Bush which were on the internet. These stories came from the AP but were elaborated on by liberal websites. We all know the gossip part of these stories don't come directly from CNN, MSNBC, and other "respectable" media sources but they get put out to the public just the same via blogs, etc.

A couple links to articles questioning if Bush "is still drinking" (kind of like asking "do you still beat your wife?" ). I can't stand George W. Bush and there is more than enough legit ammo to talk about but these are two stories which to me are just liberal gossip. Perhaps they are true, but not necessary to talk about.

We see this on every thread of this nature. People who aren't ________-ists chime in with crude jokes intending to be funny; but said jokes aren't intended to offend.

What is funny to me is the blatant double-standards so many lefties have on this type of topic. It's hilarious to make fun of anything they don't like - even black people, as long as said black people are conservatives. Yet, poke a stick at one of their own and many lefties get their panties all twisted in a knot. This is especially true when real issues are pointed out, like black crime statistics measured per capita.

Lefties love painting with a broad brush, so I am going to as well...lefties are far thinner-skinned than rigthies.

Another example - when I ridicule Cookfish because he had incest with both his mother and his sister, that is funny. When Cookfish ridicules a black person simply because that person is black, it is not funny. Cookfish made a choice to lay a Cleveland Steamer on his mom's tube socks, and he made a conscious decision to draw a Dirty Sanchez on his sisters upper lip, but no one decides to be born black.

No, I'm saying even a cursive review of history -- including, say, recent history of the election and the HIspanic SC nomination -- and it's obvious which of the two parties has leaned more in the direction of minorities. Anecdotal stories aside, the distinctions are clear.
