We see it across the nation in all venues, even on little comment forums like the DR. I have no doubt that the next major act of terrorism in the US will be committed by a disaffected rightwinger or cell of rightwingers. The writing is on the wall. In just the past two weeks we have seen the murder of an abortion prover, an armed assault on the museum of tolerance, and the arrest for murder of the founder of the Minutemen. Pretty striking what is occurring.

These men are not Patriots these people make a mockery of the word "MINUTEMAN." The original Minuteman of this Country were true Patriots not a band of Racist Assholes.

Also, these three were members of the "Minuteman American Defense", which is not the same as the (in)famous groups "Minuteman Civil Defense Corps", founded by Chris Simcox, or "The Minuteman Project", founded by Jim Gilchrist.

Granted, there is a common theme to all three groups, that of preventing illegal border crossing, but they all have a different take on how to do it.

You'd think they'd want to name themselves differently to avoid confusion. Until recently, I had no idea there were multiple groups using the term "Minuteman" in their name.
