My dear, dear, dear -- dare I say, "darling"?.... hmmmm....I think not; oh, heart be still --- dear Jerry Tarkanian, when you say (and you said; well, wrote, actually, rather than literally said), "It's so funny when a slice of white bread tries to sound street," do you mean to say (well, write, actually), "It's so funny when uh slice o' whitey bread tries ta sound street." If your response (either written or said) is, "Sho 'nuff!" then allow me, please, to elaborate, if not actually revise and extend, my earlier remarks. Harken, then to some of the lyrics my old Aunt Jemima used to wheeze at me as we sat together, hand in hand, down by Blue Bayou:
We've just been introduced,
I do not know ya well,
But when da rap started
Something drew me ta yo' side.
So many men an' ho's,
Are in each others arms-
It made me th'o't we's might be
Similarly occupied.
Shall we's get jiggy wit it?
On uh bright cloud o' rap shall we's fly?
Shall we's get jiggy wit it?
Shall we's then say "Goodnight an' mean "Goodbye"?
Or perchance,
When da last little star has left da sky,
Shall we's still be together
With iz arms around each other
And shall ya be muh ma fuckin new romance?
On da clear understanding
That dis here kind o' thin' can happen,
Shall we's get jiggy wit it?
Shall we's get jiggy wit it? Shall we's Dance? what 'chew trippin foo'
So, until next we's meet, adieu, sweet prince, adieu. all ye damn hood ratz..
