The bits they have about those electronic messages are eerie. It sounds like the thing just broke up in mid-air.

I'm actually surprised they even found two bodies. The way the plane seemed to have disintegrated while in the sky (as opposed to doing so when it hit the water) I would think there would scarely be any body parts left to identify.

Maybe from the two bodies found forensics can get some sort of clue as to whether explosives were involved -- i.e., a bomb.

If Boeing is to be believed, they had informed all carriers that the speed sensors needed to be replaced in 2007. As far as I could read, Air France did not replace the scope for the A330's. Why Air France did not replace them right away - is going to he a HUGE, HUGE liability question for them to answer. And quite honestly, the families of the victims have every right to ask ....
