Well that certainly clears up my questions about marriage. Very informative.

Small error in translation. Not concubines. That was 300 PORCUPINES. Ouch! herm

Ya ever notice that there's not nearly as much raping and pillaging nowadays as there was back in biblical times?

'Course there was a lot of smiting too, so it all evens out.

Unless you happen to be a 14 year old Iraqi boy who had the misfortune of being rounded up and sent to Abu Ghraib.

The US has killed over a million civilians in Iraq since 911.

Any guy who doesn't want a traditional Christian "Bible-based" marriage (as was ridiculed in this video) and the guy doesn't believe marriage is a sacrament and a spiritual union between a man and a woman -- then that guy simply needs to find and marry a woman who thinks just the same way he does.

Then he'll have no problem, right?

Or, perhaps just allow everyone the benefit of not being restricted to the meanings, systems and performances of any religion or religious traditions?

Would they have died had we not invaded? Probably not.

That doesn't change the fact that non-Americans have been behind most ofthe killing.

Jeff, if you want to be taken seriously, consider posting something that isn't laced with weapons-grade bullshit.

What is the real death toll in Iraq?
Mar 19, 2008
The Americans learned one lesson from Vietnam: don't count the civilian dead. As a result, no one knows how many Iraqis have been killed in the five years since the invasion. Estimates put the toll at between 100,000 and one million, and now a bitter war of numbers is raging. Jonathan Steele and Suzanne Goldenberg report
