We in America need to stop being so puritanical and repressive. If You want to end Abortions or at the very least reduce them then prevent the unwanted Pregnancies. Condoms/Birth Control in schools. The same for the workplace. You want them to stop but the thought about supplying the necessary contraceptives to Prevent these pregnancies goes contrary to the Puritanical aspects of our Culture. Open and frank discussions on Sex and contraception are a big no no for most in this Country simply because they don't want to admit people fuck outside of marriage. If we as a society would stop being puritanical and talk openly and honestly about sex and how to prevent unwanted Pregnancies we would go along way in preventing many abortions. That is My Humble opinion on it.

Third trimester abortions are already illegal, as I understand it, except for cases when the mother's life is in jeopardy. If third trimester abortions are still happening when the mother's life is not at risk then the laws that already exist should be enforced; no new laws are needed (much like enforcing gun laws that already exist rather than creating new laws).

I'm not a doctor, but even I can think of a few scenarios where a late term abortion might be necessary e.g. aggressive cancer or some other potentially fatal disease, organ failure, severe trauma, or any other thing I can't imagine that a women's body can barely cope with without the added burden of child labor.

It's a tragic and painful decision to be made, but if you're a husband and the father of three children, who need their mother, what choice are you going to make?
