Chanting "No, you can't!" and waving signs bearing messages in a similar vein, nearly 200 people held a demonstration outside the US Consulate on the capital's Rehov Agron on Wednesday evening, protesting the growing American pressure to stop construction in West Bank settlements.

The title of this thread seems to come out of a skin head comic book. Pretty fucking silly.

You gotta admit, it is a snappy title.

If you're a nutjob with an axe to grind against Jews, maybe. You have to let go of the hate, MP. That JAP that beat you up was bigger and stronger than you; there was nothing you could do......

Until Israel no longer accepts our billions $$$ in foreign aid to them every year, then the U.S. can essentially tell the Israelis to do whatever we feel like telling them to do.

The one who controls the purse strings.....

I think the sad commentary of this story is now that Obama is attempting to move forward with a real peace solution Israel is clearly the instigator agitating against peace. They even used the rhetoric of the wife of a convicted spy against our country and president.

Fuck them for protesting our president without cause and creating such incendiary posters of our president.

Their racist tendencies are showing...

"I think the sad commentary of this story is now that Obama is attempting to move forward with a real peace solution Israel is clearly the instigator agitating against peace."

What is sad, is the inability to pull back and understand what game is being played.

Is building an outhouse in a settlement block truly the crux of the peace talks? Is it racist to want to do so? If you think it is, then aren't we "imposing our values"?

I claim that what is happening is Obama/Clinton need to show the ROW that the US is going to be tough on Isreal. Isreal by standing up to the US is playing right into thier hands.

I don't think either strategy will work.

If I was Isreal, I might think about not making a stink out of this, just say sure no problem. Then when the peace plan doesn't come which surely it won't go back to the old agreements.

Its easy for idiots to push someone to an impossible position, and then claim racism, and they are the problem. It more difficult to deal with real issue, clearly building within the confines of the settlement blocs isn't a real issue. Which leads me to conclude Clinton/Obama don't have a real plan here.

But I give to them, it definitely has all you pansies fit to be tied.

.....Israel will have to withdraw from the West Bank .......

....and the Palestinians will have to recognize Israel's right to exist in peace, and forget about the 'right of return'......

......it's gonna take two to tango, and right now it's looking like the dance of the left-footed A.L.S. sufferers.......

DUDE, they REVEL in them:

"You were in your '30s and you probably didn't know the first thing about Eretz Yisrael... but we're part of God's divine plan, we're here and we're staying here!"
"Be a friend of Israel, but even if you won't be, we have the greatest ally in the world," he said, pointing to the heavens.

Why does anyone care about Israel?

The world would be much better off with out it. I hope that I live to see that day.
