Zap, stop wetting yourself over this. It was established long ago that Saddam was not DIRECTLY tied to the planning and execution of 9/11.

Clowns like you have used 9/11 for years as a club, screeching that Saddam was not involved. Cheney's comments are not a new revelation to anybody, so stop play-acting like you have been vindicated.

The strategy for the War on Terror was to go after affiliates, sympathizers and others who create the culture that breeds terrorism in general: 9/11 was the spark.

And Saddam was long known to be one of the pillars of that culture.

"But Hussein was "somebody who provided sanctuary and safe harbor and resources to terrorists. ... [It] is, without question, a fact.""

We were never told repeatedly about "high level meetings" between Al Qaeda and Saddam before the war? BWAAAAAAAA

And Saddam was long known to be one of the pillars of that culture.

Vernon you ignorant sycophant slut.

What of the culture that created bin Laden, what of the Saudis? Bush treated them like he was trying to bed them from hand holding to kissing, but that was about oil. But then again so was Iraq. The difference was the Saudi oil was flowing and the Iraqi oil wasn't.

Oil the one reason that was consistant unless you really believe Bush and Co were doing it for the people. The very funniest of the 4000 reasons for the debacle.
