The Drudge Retort left has spent years crying for the terrorists who perpetrated 9-11. You gnash your teeth and wail about Khalid Shaikh Mohamed and Abu Zubaydah's poor treatment.

Rogers, when was the last time you wrote an impassioned blog post for the victims of the savage terrorists?

Or posted a thread thanking the brave men and women that are fighting the war on terror around the world?

Where are your tears for the murdered victims of Khalid Sahik Mohamed?

www.cnn.com

Here are the victims of 9-11, the victims of KSM.

Speak to them, Drudge Retort left.

On September 11, 2001, four U.S. planes hijacked by terrorists crashed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people in a matter of hours. Behind the staggering number of deaths are the individuals, each of whom left behind family, friends and co-workers who feel the national tragedy on a personal level. CNN.com established this site as a record of those who died. The site was archived in August 2004.

Where are your crocodile tears for the murdered victims of Khalid Sahik Mohamed?

Sorry R, I cry more for the nearly 5,000 American soldiers who have died since, most of whom died in a war that had NOTHING to do with 9-11, WMDs, nuclear bombs, or anything else they told us it was about.
I'm real sorry about the poor 9-11 victims and their families but I feel even worse for the families of the soldiers who's sons died for lies in Iraq.
Deal with it, it will never go away. No matter how much time passes that invasion will always be an example of powerful Americans using less powerful Americans for purposes which had nothing to do with national defense. The evil of that unnecessary war will change the history of this country. The Bush/Cheney administration will go down in history as an administration that soiled the office.
Cleaning up their mess is the job of the Obama administration.

The shorter REX ZEITGEIST:

I'm scared and want vengeance. Fuck the Constitution.

Danni, you don't speak for anyone in the military past or present, ever, period.

There are many on this blog both left and right who can, but you haven't earned that right.

This thread is about how much time has been spent by the left on the Retort castigating the killer terrorists like KSM and memorializing his victims.

I will take your response as NONE.

I've been here as long or longer then you, and I have never seen you cry for the 9-11 victims or get pissed at the terrorists who perpetrated it. (or any terrorist attack for that matter)

You save your tears for the people who planned and executed the attacks of 9-11 and the 1000's of murders since then.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (Arabic: خالد شيخ محمد‎; also transliterated as Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, and additionally known by at least fifty aliases)[3][4] (born March 1, 1964, or April 14, 1965) is a prisoner in U.S. custody for alleged acts of terrorism, including mass murder of civilians. He was charged on February 11, 2008, with war crimes and murder by a U.S. military commission and faces the death penalty if convicted.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was a member of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda organization, although he lived in Kuwait rather than Afghanistan, heading al-Qaeda's propaganda operations from sometime around 1999. According to the 9/11 Commission Report he was "the principal architect of the 9/11 attacks." He is also thought to have had, or has confessed to, a role in many of the most significant terrorist plots over the last twenty years, including the World Trade Center 1993 bombings, the Operation Bojinka plot, an aborted 2002 attack on the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, the Bali nightclub bombings, the failed bombing of American Airlines Flight 63, the Millennium Plot, and the murder of Daniel Pearl.

Danni has raised her hand and said she has no sympathy or mercy for the 3100 innocent people murdered by KSM on 9/11.

She only has sympathy for the man who was teh mastermind behind the attacks.

He is also thought to have had, or has confessed to, a role in many of the most significant terrorist plots over the last twenty years, including the World Trade Center 1993 bombings, the Operation Bojinka plot, an aborted 2002 attack on the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, the Bali nightclub bombings, the failed bombing of American Airlines Flight 63, the Millennium Plot, and the murder of Daniel Pearl.

Gee. He confessed to a lot of stuff he couldn't possibly have had a role in.

Go figure!

I shed plenty of tears for my cousin who died in the WTC, your point is?

"Danni, you don't speak for anyone in the military past or present, ever, period."

Please show me where I ever pretended to.

"Danni has raised her hand and said she has no sympathy or mercy for the 3100 innocent people murdered by KSM on 9/11."

NO, R is proven he is incapable of reading English.

NOt surprised, his knowledge of events is that of a fifth grade child.

Danni-
REX speaks for the military.

Gee. He confessed to a lot of stuff he couldn't possibly have had a role in.

Go figure!

That is the most demented, evil, sick fuck comment I have ever read on this blog and that is saying alot.

Rex's solution is to become like those he hates.

"Gee. He confessed to a lot of stuff he couldn't possibly have had a role in.

Go figure!"

Hey, that just proves torture works. We wanted confessions. We got confessions. What are you complaining about? Typical lib...

He [KSM] is also thought to have had, or has confessed to, a role in many of the most significant terrorist plots over the last twenty years...

As Jesse Ventura said, "Give me an hour, a waterboard, and Dick Cheney, and I'll have him confess to the Sharon Tate murders."

EXACTLY truthHurts. EXACTLY

Once again I ask the Drudge Retort left, when have you spent time posting threads for the victims of the terrorists?

How many threads have you posted slamming the savage serial killers who slaughter the innocent?

How many hours have you spent acting as a de facto attorney for the women and children who have died at the hands of Islamic terrorists?

When have you thanked the men and women around the world fighting to keep you safe?

Rogers?

The Drudge Retort left has spent years crying for the terrorists who perpetrated 9-11.

Rex, you don't speak for anyone on the Drudge Retort left, past or present, ever, period. Sorry, but you have not earned that right.

AMEN Gal Tuesday AMEN

REX-
re: Once again I ask the Drudge Retort left, when have you spent time posting threads for the victims of the terrorists?

You only post items like that to defend your indefensible pant-pissing conclusion that the Constitution doesn't mean shit to you because you are frightened and angry.

www.aliennationreport.com

The savage beheading of Daniel Pearl by Khalid Shaik Mohamed.

******WARNING GRAPHIC VIDEO********

KSM is the mastermind of 9-11 and the man who personally beheaded Daniel Pearl (and many other attacks).

KSM was 'subjected' to 20 second intervals of water on his face with a physician in attendance.

KSM is alive and healthy, eating 3 halal meals a day and spends his time reading the koran and enjoying 'recreation time' at Guantanamo Bay.

I remember something the founders once said:

This Constitution and its Bill of Rights shall be a beacon to the world, and a statement to all men that the rule of law shall prevail, and justice shall be served....until such time as REX ZEITGEIST wets his pants....

...or something like that.

KSM is ....the man who personally beheaded Daniel Pearl (and many other attacks).

No, idiot, KSM claimed to have done that. There is no one who believes him.

I ask again, Drudge Retort Left, how much time have you spent posting sympathy for the innocent victims of terrorist attacks?

How many threads have you posted attacking the terrorists who murder and continue to murder women and children in America and all around the world?

How many hours have you spent as a de facto attorney preparing legal briefs for the victims of 9-11 against KSM and al Qaeda?

the man who personally beheaded Daniel Pearl

You are a fucking idiot REX.

Good night.

Rogers, how many threads have you written thanking the men and women around the world that protect America?

Daniel Pearl (October 10, 1963 February 1, 2002) was an Israeli-American journalist who was kidnapped and murdered in Karachi, Pakistan. At the time of his kidnapping, Pearl served as the South Asia Bureau Chief of the Wall Street Journal, and was based in Mumbai, India. He went to Pakistan as part of an investigation into the alleged links between Richard Reid, the shoe bomber, and Al Qaeda and Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He was subsequently beheaded by his captors.[1][2]

In July 2002, Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British national of Pakistani origin, was sentenced to death by hanging for Pearl's abduction and murder.[3][4]

In March 2007, at a closed military hearing in Guantnamo Bay, Cuba, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said that he had personally beheaded Pearl.

I find it funny Rex takes the word of a terrorist mre than He does His own people. Funny dat be in spades.

Larry

You cry for KSM, Drudge Retort left.....you cry for timed 20 second intervals of water appplied to three of the worst terrorists in world history, all who had an attending physican and are alive and well getting fat and playing soccer.....

I ask,

Where are your tears for the innocent, murdered victims, of terrorism around the world?

You know Rex I may be a sick freak but I am sure glad I am not on the Anti American Anti American values side like You are. You support terrorism Rex. You support A War Criminal Administration. DEAL WITH IT.

Larry

Rex's solution is to become like those he hates.

Rex's solution is to conjure up a bunch of bogus strawmen and bark at the moon.

This is a country that lives under a Constitution, wages war with honor and follows the Geneva Conventions. It's not a country of pre-emptive wars, extraordinary rendition, torture or secret prisons.

You can cry a river, Rex, but one of the reasons Obama won by 10 million votes was because we wanted a president who wouldn't dishonor the country by abandoning our principles. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security."

"You cry for KSM, Drudge Retort left....."

No you idiot, we don't cry for KSM, we don't give a crap about KSM. We care about the rule of law, the Bill of Rights and that "piece of paper" the Constitution. I know that is too lofty of an idea for you to grasp but surprisingly many Americans are remembering who we are and what we want to stand for. Sorry, but respect for our Constitution is what the terrorists hate most about us, they hate the fact that they can't provoke us into denying our beliefs...well since Bush left office anyway.

Smooooochies RCADE Amen

"Where are your tears for the innocent, murdered victims, of terrorism around the world?"

The RULE OF LAW is the only answer to terrorism, any other answer to terrorism becomes terrorism.

"In March 2007, at a closed military hearing in Guantnamo Bay, Cuba, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said that he had personally beheaded Pearl."

I wonder whose definition of a "closed military hearing": mine, or Dick Cheney's?

Rogers, how many threads have you written thanking the men and women around the world that protect America?

#28 | Posted by r_zeitgeist at 2009-05-21 09:48 PM

I want to answer that one.

Although Rcade may not have personally written it, he always made would sure the Drudge Retort's "Some Gave All - U.S. Military Casualty List" I posted every Sunday (for over a year) listing the names of all the soldiers and Marines who had been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan the week before was always put on the Front Page of DR.

I never asked Rcade to put the list on the Front Page and he didn't have to do it but he did. And Rcade did it out of respect for our military service members who had lost their lives the week before.

Rcade always made sure the weekly military casualty list was where everyone could easily find and see it whether or not anyone decided to post a comment on it. Some weeks the military casualty list would have very few posts but Rcade made sure the list was always front and center on DR for all on here to see and pay their respects.

"always made would make sure"

delete = "made"

I'd just like to say thanks to CALIFCHRIS for posting that deserved compliment to our benefactor.

Chris, you don't need to answer for Rogers, he is a big boy, 5 months older then me (happy belated birthday Rogers) he can answer for himself.

But your point about him putting the 'Those that have fallen' thread on the front page is taken.

I ask again Drudge Retort left, how many posts have been spent in memorium of the victims of Khalid Shaikh Mohamed?

How many thread devoted to being a de facto attorney for the world wide victims of terrorism?

All this teeth gnashing from the Drudge Retort left is for serial killers, murderers on a grand scale, and none, ZERO, for the their victims.

The real victims here are the innocents slaughtered by scum like Osama bin Laden and KSM, not the fat faux muslims at Club Gitmo.

If this "REX ZEITGEIST" is unloved or bored or lonely or whatever is his problem, this thread is a total waste and at times I for one despair of this site. If I were Rogers I would be tempted to tel him to get lost - there is no point in having posts which do not invite or provoke sane commentary. SANE.

And Hussein won because of the reasons I have stated before Rogers, not because of any 'noble cause' for Khalid Shaik Mohamed, he gets his 3 squares each day and they are all halal.

I posted a thread on how to send postcards to our troops to thank them for their service (Grendel provided the initial info in another thread and several others provided additional info):

www.drudge.com

Although I can't find it at the moment, I think Murphy or Chris also started another thread on the topic. Yeah, I know they aren't liberals, but I think at least a few liberals weighed in to say they were going to participate.

Rex is trying to justify the unjustifable in His mind so He doesn't feel so shitty. He is trying to shift the stink onto the left and it's not working.

Larry

Gal -

...Although I can't find it at the moment, I think Murphy or Chris also started another thread on the topic. Yeah, I know they aren't liberals, but I think at least a few liberals weighed in to say they were going to participate.

Yes, I remember when you put up the thread about sending postcards to our soldiers and Marines over in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was a nice and caring gesture on your part.

Rex has gone off the deep end again.

Have you stopped taking your meds Rex? Does that night shift job at the convenience store not pay enough to buy the meds? Go talk to big pharma. They have discount programs.

If it's not a matter of money then make a new appointment with your shrink Rex. Seek help, seriously.

Sitting on your ass, spending hours a day watching metal bands on YouTube until you've worked yourself up to a rage, is no way to go through life.

Your question is premised on an absurdity.

Timothy McVeigh, who knew he was blowing up a day care along with the rest of the Murrah Federal Building, had constitutional rights. By stating this fact, I am not shedding a tear for McVeigh. Nor do I shed a tear for terrorists by stating that we should either prosecute them in our courts or return to the country of capture for prosecution.

You're not honoring the victims of 9/11 in any way by expecting the country to abandon its principles.

If this thread can't 'provoke thought' for you Sitdown, none can.

I sneer in contempt at concern for terrorists, I save my sympathy and prayer for their victims.

And when I say 'I', I mean 50%+ of this country.

The left here uses their tears for savage murderers, terrorists who would cut your children's throat and laugh while they do it.

The real victims are the 10,000's of 1000's of innocent citizens murdered by terrorists, not the terrorists themselves.

The hero's are the ones fighting to stop them from killing 100,000's more.

You're not honoring the victims of 9/11 in any way by expecting the country to abandon its principles.

#48 | Posted by rcade

So you are saying that President Obama defines the 'principles of the country' by virtue of being elected?

Under that logic, President Bush defined the 'principles of the country' by being elected twice.

I agree that Hussein now sets the rules of engagement, but I also say President Bush had the same right at his turn on the khan.

BTW, I define 'honoring the victims of 9-11' by killing the terrorists who conveived, planned, and executed it.

If Obama get Bin Laden, I will be the first to stand up and cheer him for it.

And I say it is, by far, the worst failure of the Bush presidency.

I have already told the story of how I went to Gettysburg last fall for the opening of the new museum there. As part of the celebration, they provided postcards for people to send a thank you note to our troops. I wrote one and cried the whole time I was writing it, so I don't know where Rex gets off saying liberals don't weep for our troops. As for his claiming liberals never shed any tears for the victims of 9/11, I'm speechless. I don't give a shit about KSM. What I do care about is the fact that now the terrorists will waterboard our troops and then say that it isn't torture, according to our own standards.

Oh goodie!

A "Rex is all whiny and sulky because he is being unfairly treated again" thread.

Just what I've always wanted.

Bush/Cheney bumbled their way thru the last 8 years and to accept the idea that they were responsible for no more attacks on this soil is to say that Bubba was responsible for no attacks inside the US for the 8 years because that's how long it was from the last attack to 911.

If you don't want to admit that, then you have to admit it is just as likely that al-Qaeda takes a long time between attacks as it is that Bush/Cheney's policy of torturing people and throwing them in GITMO kept anyone safe.

Besides, we know that Cheney's use of torture started with trying to force confessions that would back-up his lies that got us into the war, not to stop attacks.

These detainees will be sorted out thru tribunals and courts, and what will be remembered is that the US doesn't torture anymore.... that the US isn't what Rex wants it to be, just like it's enemies.

I also care about those people who weren't terrorists, who are, in fact, innocent, but who are being treated like terrorists. Maybe there aren't many of them, but I don't like the idea that we are saying, "Well, sorry, you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Too bad for you."

Gal, terrorists will burn our soldiers alive and hang them like meat, they will blow up bombs with sharpened shrapnel in girl schools, they will do the most savage of things no matter what we do.

Terrorists aren't playing by the Queensberry rules, in fact, no one is.

I was a solider, I went to war, I didn't expect Saddam's fedayeen to 'give me a break' if I would have been captured.

How does one bring justice to the victims of September the Eleventh when they behave the same way as the ones who killed them?? Doesn't that mean the ones who were SUPPOSED to bring justice have actually pissed upon the graves of the victims??

Larry

All those people are long gone Gal, President Bush released them.

You really need to change the channel

Rogers, when was the last time you wrote an impassioned blog post for the victims of the savage terrorists?

Or posted a thread thanking the brave men and women that are fighting the war on terror around the world?

Where are your tears for the murdered victims of Khalid Sahik Mohamed?

#1 | Posted by r_zeitgeist at 2009-05-21 08:44 PM

Oh please, when was the last time George W. Bush made any concerted effort to try and find Osama bin Ladin?

Yes, it was a terrible thing which happened that September day in 2001, but it appears your boy Bush didn't give a rat's fanny about really finding Osama bin Ladin -- THE mastermind of murdering almost 3000 Americans on 9-11. So why are you putting so much emphasis on bin Ladin's second in command? So where's bin Ladin?

...I truly am not that concerned about him', said President George W Bush on 13 March 2002, after being asked the million-dollar question where is bin Laden?' once too often. "Deep in my heart I know the man is on the run, if he's alive at all", said Bush, brushing bin Laden off as a person who has now been marginalized,"...

I realize that, Rex, which is why I have no sympathy for the likes of KSM.

Years ago I read a poem "The Colonel" by Carolyn Forche. Here is an excerpt:

The colonel returned with a sack used to
bring groceries home. He spilled many human ears on
the table. They were like dried peach halves. There
is no other way to say this. He took one of them in
his hands, shook it in our faces, dropped it into a
water glass. It came alive there. I am tired of
fooling around he said. As for the rights of anyone,
tell your people they can go fuck themselves. He
swept the ears to the floor with his arm and held
the last of his wine in the air.

www.poemhunter.com

While I want to see the terrorists stopped, permanently, I don't want America to be known as a country that supports a terrorist philosophy of "As for the rights of anyone, they can go fuck themselves."

Bush never stopped trying to find Bin Laden, period.

He just failed in finding him.

Bin Laden is either dead or buried so deep the worms can't find him, we have continued to bomb the Waziristan area for years.
*******

But since you bring it up Chris, how many Drudge Retort Left would cry for Osama having 20 seconds of timed water exposure intervals with a physician attending?

Because crying for KSM is EXACTLY the same.

All those people are long gone Gal, President Bush released them.

You really need to change the channel

Fair enough, but let's not keep policies in place that would allow us to make the same mistakes in the future. I don't doubt Bush and Cheney wanted to keep America safe. I don't doubt that much of what they did was an attempt to accomplish that end. I don't doubt that some of their mistakes were honest mistakes. After 9/11 the country was in shock, and people were terribly afraid. I also don't doubt, however, that sometimes they did things they shouldn't have for their own political ends (see Corky's post). I don't condemn Cheney for trying to justify the former mistakes; I do take exception with him for trying to justify the latter.

Those weren't mistakes, they were victories.

Watching Hussein second guess the Bush administration makes me more then sick.

I would have called for Bush's impeachment if they didn't use whatever they could.

Think back to 2001-02, the 9-11 attacks, anthrax, the snipers attacks, AQ Khan..........

It was end of days shit, that Bush was so careful in what his administration did is amazing in hindsight.......

And guess what, it ain't over, in fact, I am afraid it's only beginning.......

There were only small pockets in America that blamed the US for what was going on and celebrated the carnage....

One of them was Trinty United Church in Chicago.

And guess what, it ain't over, in fact, I am afraid it's only beginning.......

Rex, if your main concern is the safety and security of the US, you would do better to state your case without the hateful rhetoric.

One of them was Trinty United Church in Chicago.

And where do Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and that crowd of miscreants fit in?

Fundie fucks loved 9/11...

A nation's values are those things that are strong enough to hold up no matter how bad the times.

Some people, like Dennis Miller and now Cheney apparently peed themselves so badly that they overreacted to the bad times, and in Cheney's case, decided that the ends justify the means, that lying and torturing were justified, which is as unAmerican as it gets.

I mean, Cheney took 5 deferments to stay out of 'Nam, and I kinda understand why now. He's a chickenshit.

Gal, on this blog in the last week, American citizens were called 'mercenaries worse then terrorists who deserved to die', a blogger said President Bush should be executed for war crimes because of the 'treatment' of KSM, and Boyd acted as attorney in fact for KSM in this very thread, denying not only KSM's confession but actual physical proof that everyone, including Obama, knows is true....

I serve the same purpose I have for 5 years now, and this blog provides me with the same outlet for my anger I need......

President Bush did the best he could, he changed on 9-11 just like many did, the whole world changed......

for so many on the left, that is a long forgotten memory, but for the rest of us, it's a daily reality....

Those weren't mistakes, they were victories.

War is peace... Defeat is victory... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Watching Hussein second guess the Bush administration makes me more then sick.

Are you growing nauseous because you realize that Bush was a fool all along, or did you just drink too much?

It was end of days shit

If you're a tweaked-out fundamentalist who voids his bowels every time someone on the internet can draw a parallel between current events and some passage in Revelation...

what his administration did is amazing in hindsight.......

Amazingly shortsighted and foolhardy...

And honestly, I will continue to beat the shit out of the left because I enjoy it.

-this blog provides me with the same outlet for my anger I need......

Get counseling, Sonny. That's not what we are here for. That, or just keep listening to skinhead music and watching wrestling. Violence and ignorance seems to be your thing.

>

-I will continue to beat the shit out of the left because I enjoy it.

At least you have a sense of humor. You think you "beat the shit out of" anyone around here? Now that's funny!

And honestly, I will continue to beat the shit out of the left because I enjoy it.

#69 | Posted by r_zeitgeist

Eh, loser? You haven't done jack shit. You just make yourself look ignorant.

I missed that thread, Rex. Do you have the link?

and this blog provides me with the same outlet for my anger I need......

And honestly, I will continue to beat the shit out of the left because I enjoy it.

You talk about how the left doesn't shed any tears for various people and situations, but what comes across in your own posts isn't grief but anger, an anger you relish and enjoy. You need the left to be evil, so you can justify your anger and the pleasure you get from expressing it. I guess.

Look around Gal.....

Hahahahaha, there is always trash to burn in hell......

And honestly, I will continue to beat the shit out of the left because I enjoy it.

Um... that's a windmill you're swinging at, chief...

I would venture to guess that Rex is dealing with transference, lashing out to find meaning in his otherwise hopeless existence.

For Zitgrease the Retort is a stage where he can act out his drama. He likes the rough tough stuff because he was candy ass REMF.

Passive aggressive in real life he picks a handle that suits his ego not his true persona.

Want a laugh - Wrecks has a STALKER!

Just like the movie stars...LOL

The fact is no one is crying tears for KLM. For me the issue is pragmatic: Did we gain more by these techniques than we lost in prestige and honor? I think not.

Danni made a good point early in the thread. It's what happened since 9-11 that is a pity.

When the Bush administration decided to turn Iraq upside down by prohibiting employment to anyone who was a member of the Baath Party they subjected our troops to an unnecessary war that went asymmetrical at once. It's not just the thousands who have died but the tens of thousands who have been wounded physically and psychologically.

But this is all faux outrage. Zit is a liar and cheap shot artist who would do us all a favor if he would again and for the last time storm out of here and start another blog.

Or just jump off a bridge.

Hahahaha, there's my pretty little Anal Queen, her one eye all primped, powdered, and ready for love.......Just like that majic night LarRy stayed over.....

I like you AQ, you're a sweet kid!

Even if you only have two good 'eyes', one blue, one brown, and one just plain weepy empty socket.

Holla back Missouri, I've already gutted you like a fish little sister, but 'I'm a fixin' to have seconds if you like...

Is there anyone, on either side of the political aisle, reading this thread and not concluding Zeit is pathetic? LOL. He is almost as laughable as Tadowe.

Zit is a liar and cheap shot artist who would do us all a favor if he would again and for the last time storm out of here and start another blog.

Or just jump off a bridge.

Yeah, a confirmed liar and serial exaggerator.

Rex Zeitgeist, the imp king of Blawgberg, memorized a few wikipedia articles on Freudian defense mechanisms and all of a sudden has a Master's Degree in Psychology.

It's funny how quickly you ran away from me on that thread, kid.

He's also claimed to have taken on 5 marines at once, and has purported to have been shot in the face, point-blank, on several occasions (I'm too lazy to dredge up links for those).

"Hey, guys! Look, I listen to slipknot! I beat up a platoon of marines! I'll eat your parents! I'm so angsty!!! RAWR!! Here, this youtube link to some crappy song will demonstrate the depth of my torment! Do you guys think I'm cool yet? Hey, wait...guys! Where are you all going?!?"

Perhaps Rexy's incessant clamoring for attention online betrays a failure in real-life social encounters?

Rare photo of Rex Zeitgeist

If Obama get Bin Laden, I will be the first to stand up and cheer him for it. And I say it is, by far, the worst failure of the Bush presidency.

On this we can agree. If you had told me the week after 9/11 that we would neither have killed Bin Laden nor captured him eight years later, I would have been stunned.

It's mind boggling Rogers.....

I know about Tora Bora, but I can't beleive he 'escaped' (if he did).

I would have dropped a nuke.

I have never shed a tear for any terrorist. I don't care what we do with them to be honest. Gitmo or some dungeon for all I care. I figure 2 presidents picked Robert Gates to call the shots on defense so he must be pretty good at what he does. I am personally more concerned with receiving health care for all Americans, and Having the economy recover.

Rex

Lyoto or Rashad?

Serra or Hughes?

Lyoto and Serra, JA.......

I can't stand Hughes and Machida amy be the best of all time.

Look at how he ignores!

LOL! The ole' e-ego can't take it, I guess!

Gute Nacht, Scheisskopf!

Rasta --

Saw your comment the other day --

starting a new job in a city you know no one is stressful

Don't worry about it. Once you've worked there for a couple weeks you'll get to know people and then you can join them for drinks on a couple Friday night after work and meet eve more people. They probably all have friends they can introduce you to and maybe some parties to go to.

It sucks being by yourself in a new city and then having to deal with new job and all, but give yourself a month or two and you'll meet friends. At least you've found yourself an apt. so you know where you'll be staying. Do you have to go back for your furniture?

but give yourself a month or two and you'll meet friends.

It should be an automatic dump to use in the same sentence "rasta" and "friends" unless you're referring to a TV sitcom.

He's better off bitter and lonely.

aww, OzarkAggie, be nice. lol!

Have to agree, at least in part, with Rex here. While lefties may not be "crying" for KSM and other terrorists, they certainly devote substantially more time to defending those persons' right not to have a wet rag stuffed in their mouth than they do mourning the victims of terror or expressing appreciation or gratitude to the services of our military. Many lefties here look down on the military as being a group of morons who had nothing better to do with their life.

Has waterboarding hurt our "image abroad" as much as some say it has? I'd have to disagree. Which nations in particular are looking at us and saying "Hmm, waterboarding, how sick and depraved that they would do that"? For every country you can come up with, I want to see details on how they respond to massive acts of terror before we even begin to give a shit about what they think.

WOW. How'd you do that?

I tried it but won't play anything.

Where have we seen this before?

Rex is cornered. Like a cowardly dog, he won't look his betters in the eye, preferring to embed bullshit right into his response (GTFO my internets with that plz)

Post another BRUTAL link for us, O Koenig von Blawgberg!

It sucks being by yourself in a new city and then having to deal with new job and all, but give yourself a month or two and you'll meet friends. At least you've found yourself an apt. so you know where you'll be staying. Do you have to go back for your furniture?

Yeah Cali. Luckily I have 2 weeks before I start work. I never thought I'd be a Texan. I had hoped to find work in my beloved California but It's too expensive to live there anymore and the Jobs are becoming so scarce.

Rex your music choices are horrible. I'd rather listen to some ZZTOP or Lynard Skynrd or even Tower of Power. Music you can Jam to and understand.

You'll do fine. You're not alone. I'm scared as hell over having to move to some new state and not know anyone when I first get there. But I guess once the move is over and done with and I get settled in somewhere all should hopefully be okay and I'll get to know some nice people after awhile.

I use to be able to do the "tie your stuff on the top of your car and just go" sort of move without batting an eye when I was in my early 20s. Drove from CA to NJ with my stuff tied to the top of my VW Bug. lol But it gets a little more intimidating when you're not some kid anymore. Oh well, unknown adventures keep you young.

REX

Your #96 would be cool to have on the Friday Night music thread but it might take up too much room. Still....

But I guess once the move is over and done with and I get settled in somewhere all should hopefully be okay and I'll get to know some nice people after awhile.

Depending on where you move, you could know them within days. My daughter in law told me that within three days of them moving into their new home, every neighbor on the block had come by -- most bearing food or simple house-warming gifts. She was shocked

Oh thats right I'll know my main man Goat. We can go to Nuevo Laredo and meet some people.

Guess that's what they mean when you hear of "Southern hospitality."

Don't know if it's that neighborly in every state in the country though. I know it's sure not that way here in L.A.

Guess that's what they mean when you hear of "Southern hospitality.

A cynical person (as my d'-in-law can be) could see it as snooping. But I think they were just being hospitable.

There you go!

Just man up Rasta. I've relocated before and making friends is pretty easy. I start with my neighbors. Do something nice for someone and give them a smile. Be generous to those around you.

Once I worked a job I couldn't quit fast enough. So every day I got there early, and before I walked in I put a smile on my face. In 6 months they wanted to make me a foreman. But then I was ready to move on.

I'm getting ready to move south to West Plains. I don't know anyone there, but it's the best location for a business I'm starting. What I really like about it socially is there are NO TAVERNS in West Plains.

But there are rivers to float and some of the best bass and trout fishing in Missourah all within a few hours drive.

Change is always stressful but if you put that energy to good use it fades away.

Don't fart around new or old friends. If you do, don't try to blame their dog.

There you go!

Ohhh, Hotel California by the Eagles -- one of my forever favorite rock bands.

I get more weepy and nostaligic over anything "California" now that I know I'll be leaving here for good soon.

Guess I better practice at learning how to "man up" hahaha

Gee, thanks, Rex.

The songs only get better from there Chris,

Goatman are we gonna get some beers in Nuevo Laredo?

Goatman are we gonna get some beers in Nuevo Laredo?

Dangerously close to Arkansas - Clintoon country.

Not far from Branson....can you imagine the horror of libbies exposed to Branson? The conservatives, the older american patriots, the honoring of Vets, old-fashioned values, entertainment without drugs and porn, country music and (egad)Christians!

Oh, Good Grief!

Rex is still hoppin' mad at Rogers and he's trying to gin up another battle.

Unemployment benefits run out, Rex?

Job interview didn't pan out, Rex?

Date with old girlfriend fall flat, Rex?

You're pathetic! You've been a mental case as long as we've known you. Nobody is impressed with your faux outrage and nobody is impressed with your stupid accusations about Rogers.

Why don't you go pickle your brain with some more alcohol.

It looks good on you.

Branson does sound like a vile place.

I ask you this Drudge Retort left, Rogers, et al.

How many tears have you shed for the victims of the terrorists?

Rex, I cry for the number of American flag panties the terrorists have made you soil.

Rex,

I'm not gonna blast you straight to hell, like I want to, because I believe you are intelligent and have a point (not a good point, but it's a point). Instead I'll just say this;

At what point in time do you correct yourself, right that which you've made wrong, confess to the endless sin?

Let's say you personally have made a rare mistake, what do you do then, continue with your mistaken methods? Hell No, you correct it and live to fight another day.

This is what is happening now. Huge mistakes were made by our government. Americans were killed because of americans ignorance, incompetence and partisan attitudes. Americans were killed because we just had the most unenlightened pair in the white house that has ever been there (including everyone that passed through on the regular tours).

Is there redemption? Hell, no, we are expected to forge ahead with the incompetence and forget the evil. You are one of the evil enablers. Cheney is your leader. Limplog is your spiritual guide whether you accept them or not, they are there for you.

Why should you give a shit what the DR's mass thinks or feels, especially when you say it is all leftists? Do you think it's possible you may have slipped outside the bounds of reasonable thought?

If you are dedicated and true to what you say you believe, why don't you go where your type hang out, like the Limbaughs web-site. Or Cheney's secret satanic rituals.

I never have understood people that goes to a friends house and starts trying to re-arrange his furniture.

Let Me put it to You this way JeffJ. You obviously haven't been locked up for any extended period of time like I have. I applaud that btw. I was incarcerated on June 04 1992 at 11:45 AM. for a crime that I had committed.(Temporary deprovation of property IE Theft. I was released on November 30th 1992 at 11:47 and 35 seconds.(You don't forget that EVER) I can sympathize with these detainees because I know what it's like being locked up. Think about how YOU would feel being locked up for years on end without charges without a trial. We in all actuality held these people hostage/Captive. We as a nation didn't charge them try them as per our Laws dictate that we should and must. We just picked them up and carted them off to GITMo without offering them a chance to plead their cases. I have NO) problem let Me repeat this I HAVE NO PROBLEM sending them to prison for life if they have been convicted of a terrorism related act. You don't get to walk scott free if You've done something wrong. But I DO have a problem keeping them indefinitely without charges without a trial. That is not what this Country was founded upon.

Larry

Let Me boil it down for You like this. I can sympathize with the detainees because I've been there done that. Not the terrorism but being locked up. I especially feel sorry for the ones who aren't guilty of anything. That has to be the most rotten feeling in the world. Being locked up for something that You did not do. I "Cry" because it's just not right.

But I DO have a problem keeping them indefinitely without charges without a trial. That is not what this Country was founded upon.

#127 | Posted by LarryMohr

My thoughts exactly. If they are terrorists, let's put them on trial. If they are guilty, off you go to prison, if not, you are free to go.

Why does the right hate the United States Judicial process so much?

yes, i'm much cuter in person.

Nanc, do you live in Branson? I know some folks, staunch Christians, who do.

terrorists will organize in mosques and at funerals. we don't go there, but they'll think nothing of hitting a synagogue or church. this is not a war in the sense we're fighting another military in fairmindedness - this is like trying to rid a grain silo of mice.

#131 - nope! we're just close enough to go on the spur of the moment when we feel like it - it's one of the safest places on the planet - at sdc you see children ages six or seven up wandering with their friends freely - same at the whitewater park. it's like ugliness hasn't landed there. yet.

Congratulations, Rex. You've joined Boob and Jeffy as a certifiable nut.

It's really not. you don't even have to be right. All you have to do is what Cheney is doing. Keep pounding on the message, no matter how unrealistic it is and the ingnoramuses who can't think alone, will follow right along.

and then when presented with the failure of your policies, you redefine failure to mean success.

What's the battle score now with Rex's private jihad.

Oh, wait a minute. I know.

Rogers: 10

Rex: BIG FAT ZERO

And the tears still fall for KSM.......

It has to be tough to know your hero was subjected to 'brutal' interrogation tactics.

I mean, all he did was plan 9-11, cut of Daniel Pearls head, etc, etc, it really was Americas fault anyway for our imperialist policies overseas, just ask Jeremish Wright or Billy Ayers.

So continue to cry for Khalid Shiak Mohamed and Abu Zubyadah, because when they eat fourth meal (halal) at Club Gitmo and get ready to pray to Allah on the prayer rug our tax money paid for, they will be thanking you and dreaming of the day when an ACLU lawyer (paid by us) gets them out and they can kill again.

Forget about their many 1000's of victims, their loss and the losses to their families pale in comparison to them being subjected to 20 second interval of water exposure with attending physicians.

Hell, nothing was gained by that extreme torture anyways, right?

Guess when you move to Great Plains you'll be giving up your current place right on the river. From what you described about Great Plains being "within a few hours drive" from any lakes and rivers, it sounds as though you might be a bit "landlocked" in your new place? Might take some getting used to if you're used to living right near the water. Well, look at the bright side, at least you won't be getting any floods in your new locale. lol

And best of luck on your new business venture.

Going good Stir, Lyoto Machida just won the light heavy weight UFC crown from Evans, knockout in the 2nd round.

First Karate guy to ever hold a title.

What have you been up to man?

Beetle Juice - you must admit, you are a fuck most of the time.

Guess you must be 12 to "drive" a boat on open water with "not a fucking sole in sight"!

Here's a simple question, REX:

Was McCain tortured?

naw...he lets me post on my own once in awhile. I actually think you are pretty whitty, when you aren't being a dick.

Stir, check out the song I just posted, you will love these guys.

Was McCain tortured?

You don't keep up with the news or what? He claimed he was.

I simply don't understand your idiotic questions sometimes, boyd.

Rashad got KTFO

where did you post it? Your tube account?

He claimed he was.

Did you really write and post that, Goatman?

He [McCain] claimed he was [tortured].

?????

Are you sure you are the same person who was a person a few months ago?

On the music thread, man.

It's now open for debate as to whether or not McCain was tortured, Goatman?

His word against whom? His Communist captors and Dick Cheney, and you?

Lyoto is the new wvae JA.

I don't see him losing anytime soon.

Machida vs. Silva, greatest battle of all time?

Have you been drinking/smoking crack Bettle Juice?

Seriously, Goatman. You have become REX, whose definitions for words depend on, well, who really knows...

Machida vs. Silva, greatest battle of all time?

#171 | POSTED BY R_ZEITGEIST

If they weren't best friends we might get to see it. I suspect they both will be champs for a long time.

Silva is moving to 205 for good.

And White isn't buying any 'best friends' stuff, not even from these two.

Seriously, Goatman. You have become REX, whose definitions for words depend on, well, who really knows...

Sorry, boyd, I'm not playing your assignment games tonight. You really need to grow up.

Later

Goat needs to grow a pair and quit being a whiny coward.

I was invited over a hot girls house for dinner. I ended leaving early so I could watch the UFC. I wish I would have tried to get some instead. UFC was ok but not great.

Goatman-
Maybe someday I'll be in the mood to play the "he said/she said" game you have suddenly adopted regarding whether or not McCain was tortured in his Vietnames cell, but I doubt it.

"He claimed he was."....

Fuck you, and that's my polite goodbye, Goatman.

I wish Serra would have won.....He almost had his ass in the 1st round

I can't stand Hughes

On the music thread, man.

#169 | Posted by r_zeitgeist

Heard the tune Rex...Different, I must say. For me, with three kids, it's hard to keep up with new music. Almost impossible. The kids are playing Guitar Hero and always want to know what I know about those "old" songs they are playing. My five year old tells me to turn up the radio when "Barracuda" comes on!

My freetime for new music is gone...

"He claimed he was."....

If the word of the person involved isn't good enough for you, I don't know what to say, boyd. I don't understand how you could take the word of someone on this blog who wasn't there over the word of the person involved. You are very strange.

My polite way of saying goodbye is,

"Good bye"

#179 | Posted by BetelG

So are you claiming McCain was not tourtured?

Goat needs to grow a pair...

You hungry, ratsa?

I'm sorry, Goatman, but I had to come back. You leave it up for debate as to whether or not McCain was tortured by saying "He claimed he was"?

You are a sick fuck.

So are you claiming McCain was not tourtured?

No, you complete fucking idiot! I'm stating that it is clear that McCain was tortured and that Goatman thinks it's up for debate.

Jesus, how stupid can you really be if you try Beachbuzz?

Hahahahah, Stir, you always bring up your kids when you mention music.

You seem to forget that I have been raising kids since I was 12, including 11 years with a step kid of my own.

The first thing my 16 year old niece asks me when she sees me twice a week is what new bands I have for her to listen to.

My baby, (29 year old niece I helped raise from birth) was weaned on the hardest metal known to man and she is as well rounded and successful as anyone could possibly be.

Every time I see my 6 year old grand nephew, Joey, he wants me to put on a cd of new metal for him.

Although my grandniece, Haley, isn't as enthused.

REX-
(I'll ask again)Was McCain tortured?

Wow! I think Bettle Juice has dropped to around 3% juice and 97% bullshit!

Beachbuzz-
You'll notice that REX can't answer the question.

I'm stating that it is clear that McCain was tortured and that Goatman thinks it's up for debate.

???

Where did I say that, boyd?

Serious question -- why do you play this game? Why do you assign positions to people that they never took? Why do you put words in their mouths?

I simply don't understand your pathological need to lie night after night. It is so strange.

Rex My team mate in college beat Matt Hughes. Our guy was down 14-1. He somehow managed to lock up a cradle on Hughes and pinned him to win. The crowd went crazy.

Rex can't/won't answer the question and Goatman's response is that McCain "claimed he was" tortured.

Does this strike anyone but me as a bit odd and evasive?

It seems like last year we all agreed that McCain was tortured when he was a POW, but now, not so much...

It has become: "He claimed he was [tortured]"

How odd.

Does this strike anyone but me as a bit odd and evasive?

No. But I do find it extremely odd that you would take my word over McCain's since he was the one who was there and I was in Jr. High School in Texas at the time.

"Jesus, how stupid can you really be if you try Beachbuzz?

#186 | Posted by BetelG at 2009-05-24 01:35 AM"

Easy there glory hole, I only joined the debate a few hours ago. I haven't read the history between you two love birds.

Regardless, I'm sure you would still insult me with your less than pithy comments.

When you were in Jr High did you get beat up often?

So what's changed in the last year or so? It was once a given that McCain's treatment in his cell in Vietnam was torture, but now Goatman is not so sure (re: "He claimed he was"), and REX won't even answer.

What has changed?

When you were in Jr High did you get beat up often

About six times a day, sometimes seven.

Hughes didn't lose very often in college, that is for sure.

Goatman is not so sure

???

Did I ever say I didn't take McCain's word?

YOu never answered my question upthread, boyd: Why do you have this pahtological need to lie and assign positions to people and put words in their mouths?

These are serious questions. Would you answer them please?

I hate Hughes too. He seemed arrogant back then too. I was hoping Serra was going to finish him in the first. Oh well though. Lyoto is the only karate guy I have ever seen be successful in the UFC.

Goatman-
re: Did I ever say I didn't take McCain's word?

No, you left it open to interpretation. It's McCain's "claim" against....

Whom, exactly?

"Hahahahah, Stir, you always bring up your kids when you mention music."

Music is the gateway to the soul...

Even if I didn't have kids - I still wouldn't play the demonic stuff you post here. Especially to my 6 year old nephew! Your sister must be proud.

Music is like feeding cattle...crap in equals crap out.

Lyoto Machida is a just a bit better then Ron van Clief was at karate.

Music is like feeding cattle...crap in equals crap out.

Ain't that the truth.

Adios.

No, you left it open to interpretation.

???

No I didn't. You see, unlike you, I generally believe what people say. If I catch them lying, I cease to believe them. You are an excellent example of that. You have lied to me so many times, I can't trust what you say.

However, I have never heard McCain lie about anything major -- maybe little political lies they all tell, but nothing major like his experience in Viet Nam. I trust people. I'm sorry you don't. So if McCain says he was tortured, that is good enough for me.

You are a fool to interpret my trust in a person as failure to accept their word. That says a lot about your very flawed personality.

I still wonder why you find it necessary to lie every night and assign positions to people that they never took and put words in their mouths. Will you answer that, please? I don't understand why you are avoiding these questions.

"Music is like feeding cattle...crap in equals crap out.

Am I right brother?

Stir, click on the myspace link and listen to 'About You', the second song in the list.....Classic Shinedown stuff.....

okay...now 16.

I love them little keggers...good company.

I got two on sale at the Asian market up the road, $16.99 a peice.

Can't I'm too cheap (and broke) for PC speakers.

Unless someone knows a way I can hook up the floor speakers for my receiver/DVD/CD setup to the computer

Got it. good tune.

Check this out. Tara lodge

My buddy started renting a house out with a pool and he furnishes the place with a 1/2 keg of Heineiken for a modest price.

I haven't used speakers for the last two years, I use Skullcandy headphones.

$30 and they are as crystal clear as any I have ever owned.

I use these Rex

They are amazing

Very Nice place.....

Only bad thing is they hurt your head after a while. They fit too tight.

www.skullcandy.com

This is what I have.

You can wear these all day, light and the sound is amazing.

$299 for head phones is a bit much.

$17 is still expensive considering 5 liters is just over a 12 pack which I picked up for $12.99 here in the Buckeye state.

17 Speaking of 17....Seventeen

Only bad thing is they hurt your head after a while. They fit too tight.

Work them around the point on your head and they should be more comforable.

Dude, you gotta get out of the 80's....

They're over, they're done, and they are never coming back.

lol Goatman...

My good friends wife has a "Winger" tatoo around her ankle. She loves the dude.

Something for the kidz.

"They're over, they're done, and they are never coming back."

And may God have mercy on your soul!

Some of us don't mind replaying those days.....

BTW - my shitty headphones suck. And not because of my pointy head.

18 And Life

Get the Skullcandy head set, they are great....

And for less then $40 at Bestbuy, you can't go wrong.

www.skullcandy.com

I like these

I'm on it. Fathers Day is coming up too.

Of course Mrs Buzzz says the boat is my gift.

There is nothing worse then bad head set.

Except listening to a liberal pussy whine about the 'brutal treatment' Khalid Shaikh Mohamed received.

There is nothing worse then bad head set.

Except for the stereographic pain of enduring LaRRy and boyd's DR postings.

or bad head....

Just do't interact with them Goatman.

You would think that when I tell Boyd that he disgusts me and I wouldn't throw rat piss in his face if his head was on fire, he might take that as a hint I don't want to engage in a 'debate' with him about terrorist scum and their sycophantic American worshipers.

or bad head....

I long for the Mother country....pomfrites and gravey...

You too Rex?

Balls to the Wall

A good schnitzel and pommes would be great.....or a bratwurst and brochen.

In fact, I have bratwurst and brochen right now and I am going to eat some......

I haven't eaten since the family picnic at 6 pm .....

I am fricking starving.

Yo Stirly, did you watch the Band of Brothers marathon this weekend?

Of all of my time in Germany, I remember guard duty in Hof (before the wall came down) when the locals would bring us beer, cheese and brochen.

They really appreciated what we were doing over there for them.

Everything else is a mild blurrr.

Kinda like this Drudge place we fight about...

Yo Stirly, did you watch the Band of Brothers marathon this weekend?

I have the DVD.

playing the Scorps again...

I'm writing my book right now, I just finished with my high school years in Sicily and I am going to start on my army time next week. (I've already completed the chapter outlines)

I am calling all my old buddies and going over the things we did.

I already did that with my high school pals, who also went in the military, most during the same time you were in.

I can't get ahold of the dudes that were already in permanent party when I first got to Budingen,....

Shep, Pena, etc......the hard core short timers and stoners who became my first friends in Germany.

It's going to be a great book.

Drugs, death, and lots of sex.

'The Last Cold War Solider'

Yea, I've got the dvd set too.....

Right now the next to last show is on the History channel.

Send me a copy.

I'd love to read it. It will go no further from my drunken hands to yours!

Beachbuzz is over and out for now!

Exit stage right as I do........

Night man.

Goatman-
So, McCain was tortured?

Y/N?

So, McCain was tortured?

*sigh*

You are such a child, boyd.

I have no idea. I wasn't there.
