Kornheiser quits Monday Night Football, Gruden to replace

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden is replacing Tony Kornheiser in the "Monday Night Football" broadcast booth, ESPN reported Monday.

Thank god.

But replacing him with Gruden? Just what we need, a guy in the booth who'll lob softballs to not damage his future employment opportunities.

This job is perfect for Jim Rome...he's already an ESPN employee. Why he doesn't get it is beyond me.
