Only one way to handle this. Increase spending to accelerate the point at which the crisis makes it unsustainable.
Don't worry. Even Wall St. and the Big Banks will fall. They're on life support now, commanded to continue "social lending."
By the way, the AIG bailout did not bail out AIG. AIG insured "bad loans," so AIG was just a conduit through which money was funneled to improvident lenders. Otherwise "the loans" to lenders would have been far more apparent and possibly subjected to greater public scrutiny - for all the impact that would have had.
Right now you're in "the screwing" phase. Wait until you have the baby, inflation, and then wait for the post-parturition period.
This clown, Obama, is taking us down the path that Mugabe took Zimbabwe. Mugabe transferred productive farms to his followers, who didn't have a clue as to how to operate them. So, a country that had been the breadbasket of sub-Saharan Africa instead suffered starvation and the new managers didn't know how to use the productive capacity.
In the U.S., the Obama politicians and ideologues and academics are gaining control of industries and grossly reducing their productivity. The only things these folks have ever run are their mouths. Remember what happened in the Stalinist USSR, when the kulaks were driven off the land. There was mass starvation there too.
It's happening here. Our productive capacity is being compromised. Our banks and securities firms which engaged in improvident high risk lending, have not been allowed to fail, but have been bailed out and sustained rather than being reformed through the bankruptcy process. The second tier banks could readily have replaced them and would have had far greater liquidity without the massive infusion of cash by the feds.
The automobile companies have been "rescued," but have ceased to exist as they are now just artifacts maintained to support union members. It's another funnel where they are paid without producing anything, so the value of the currency is being further diluted.
FDR screwed up from 1932 to WWII without providing a reprieve, but somehow was adept at maintaining that it remained "a Hoover Depression." How long will Obama be excused for his screw-ups, bad policy, bad strategy, bad tactics?
What did hatemonger Rev. Wright say? "God damn America. Well, now Rev. Wright, who provided mentoring for Obama, sees his plan implemented with America being damned through Obama.
