No imminent threat, no need for torture.
More evidence Cheney was using torture for what it's actually good for: Soliciting false confessions.
In this case, an Iraq-Al Qaida link.

This wasn't done to protect the American people.

One more lie shot to hell.

A taste of the cat and a bottle of port, Mr. Christian, that's what made this empire!

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!!!!!!!

For Nanc & McAnkles the above is Sarcasm.

At least we know who was on the CORRECT side of History and who wasn't. It sure wasn't the sad sacks of shit who supported Dubya and did their level bests to condemn anyone who spoke out against Him. It's not the Bushites who tried their level best to condone torture and then when shit hit the fan did everything they could to throw the stink off of themselves. It wasn't the Bushites who blindly supported Him because they were too chickenshit to do otherwise. That has to suck for the Bushites. Wail and Gnash Your teeth Bushites. That's all You can do now.

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU BUSHITES

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of deaths construction

In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds, oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their judgement day comes, yeah!

Now in darkness, world stops turning
As the war machine keeps burning
No more war pigs
of the power
Hand of God has sturck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings
All right now!

Cheney's office suggested waterboarding an Iraqi prisoner

This is so rich with meaning. First, Cheney's office - or Cheney himself suggesting (second) waterboarding. Third, it wasn't a detainee, it wasn't Al Qaida, it was a POW.

Everything we were told about EIT (torture) was a lie. Who they intended to use it on, when they first started using it, who came up with the idea, etc.

It might as well be for oil. Dems won't allow alterative energy production, just ask Fienstein.

ChickenRancher, what's it like to be a complete Partisan whore for a discredited and disdained GOP?

You know Chickenrancher the Oil Companies could develope alternatives to fossil fuels and oils all day long and noone would stop them. The simple fact is that the Oil is still there still being pumped so why should oil companies look for other avenues??[Sarcasm] I mean it's just like us. We get stuck using the same product day in and day out until it's ran out then and only then do we look at other alternatives than the product we used to get. It's no different with the attitudes of the Oil Companies.

Larry

Dubya and Cheney worst Administration in US History bar none.
