Cheney argues that moderating their positions in order to achieve a more viable consensus position would weaken the GOP?
O Rly?
More than shifting to the hard right and adopting extremist neo-fascist tactics has weakened them already?
Spud finds that hard to believe.
Problem with the right these days is that most people see how their opposition to increased religious extremism abroad is totally undercut by their continued insistance on increased fundamentalism at home.
People are weary of continual wedge issue politics and simply want to see some degree of progress and change that improves people's situations or at the very least stops the slide into neo-fuedalism.
Democrats, Republicans. What's the diff? The only thing that matters now is NEW WORLD ORDER, BABY
Are both parties massively overly influenced by global elites and transnational corporations?
Yes.
That sed, the equivilancy argument flew out the window along with the Constitution, Habeus Corpus and the Geneva Convention under BushCo's reign of errors.
Globalism is a reality we all must deal with.
The so-called forces of anti-globalism are not arguing with the reality of it happening but merely looking for a greater say in how it happens.
Folk like Spud would like to see a lot more tranparency, accountability and a lot less greed and secrecy there.
Be Well.
