As the most hated class in the world - a religious white man - I was actually peeved that the new Pope is a German. I really thought it was time for a South/Centeral American Pope.

Though they're heavily recruited by liberals, hispanics have a tendency to be hard working, family oriented, god fearing people. I think their devotion would have taken the church in a better direction - not that Vatican II was all bad but there is a difference between repainting the house and tearing it down. Vatican II fundamentally changed the Catholic Church for the worse and I think highly religious hispanics could have done wonders for revitalizing the church.

Now if we could only kick out the illegals and bring in legal immigrants...
