I'm sure Hannity will denigrate this hero's memory in some way. When's the waterboarding exhibition, pussy??

So, this guy was shot down, cracked due to torture, and confessed to things that were untrue...
Hmmm, there was some old fuck that just ran for POTUS that fit almost that exact description, and he was called a traitor and a shitty pilot. Some how I doubt this guy will recieve the same treatment from the limpwrists.

Regardless, the torture couldn't have been that bad. He lived for 54 years afterward.

Then his engine stalled, emitting smoke. He ejected.

he must have been a shitty pilot.

I hope we will see where he graduated in his class soon.

:-(

and he was called a traitor and a shitty pilot.

#2 | Posted by 101Chairborne

I never called him a traitor, but I do think, based on what i've read, that he was a shitty pilot.

Even when i found out he sang like a bird under torture, I never called him a traitor, because this is what torture is for; getting them to say whatever the fuck you want them to say.

It is purely coincidental if the tortured one was actually involved in whatever you want him to confess to.

I guess for those without morals, that's good enough reason to torture someone.

Regardless, the torture couldn't have been that bad. He lived for 54 years afterward.

Torture Works!

101 Chairdouche.

a shitty pilot

Crashed four planes before being shot down by a bunch of third world gooks. Set an aircraft carrier on fire. Good thing daddy was an Admiral.

Thankfully, we are now friends with the nice government of China and buy billions of dollars worth of goods from them. We don't have to worry that we will ever fight them again because they aren't even building a military to compete with us with all the money we send them.
What???
The are???

Uh oh.

StillBorne,

I guess you are referring to "Reverse Ace" McCain?

Perhaps the nation's only pilot to have destroyed five of his own airplanes?

Wow, you're a perceptive little fucker. What gave it away?...

What a dumbass.

Perhaps the nation's only pilot to have destroyed five of his own airplanes?

I'm sure we can dig up enough shit on this Fischer fella to make him look just as bad.

Probably hated dogs too.

Captain Fischer had falsely confessed to participating in germ warfare.

Jeffy is right Chemtrails....

I guess you are referring to "Reverse Ace" McCain?

Please, Let it go already he did loose 5 aircraft and still had the balls to get fired off an aircraft carriers, fly a combat sorties, then and land back on the same postage stamp.

PS

RIP Captain Fischer

That talking point drivel is about on the same level as the birthers use, looking for Obama's birth certificate, NG. Looks like you approve of such techniques to falsely smear people you don't agree with. Typical.

Unbelivable how some lowlife cowards can make fun of a hero being tortured in a foreign prison.

No shit. McCain deserved better treatment from fellow Americans.

Oh come on you military worshiping little bitches. If you are going to be so dramatic over defending "Reverse Ace" McCain then I also want to hear some lip smacking sound as you kiss John Kerry's - french speaking, swiss cheese eating, Theresa Heinz fucking - liberal vietnam vet ass.

Kiss it bitches, kiss John Kerry's ass, lick it up.

Incompetence and recklessness should not be rewarded with a presidency.

The vietcong saved McCain's ass from himself by shooting him down and putting him in the hanoi hilton.

Douchebag, McCain was a shitty pilot. Being shot down doesn't make him a hero it just reinforces he was a shitty pilot.

Why don't you stop wacking off to McCain?

#19 | Posted by eberly

Crap...I hate agreeing with righties... He may have crashed a few planes but he did his job. He served his country. He put his life on the line. There is some question of how good a pilot he was and whether he broke under pressure from torture. Frankly, i don't really care about either aspect. He served. So he beats Bush on that front and a solid portion of the rest of the country as well. That he gets respect for. Doesn't mean I want him as president but he gets some respect.

Why don't you stop wacking off to McCain?

I voted for Obama. Is there anything you ever get right furryhole?

Does this mean you are finished with them? You missed a couple of drops.

Nice post Syco. It's tough to read people making fun of people who put it on the line for our country, regardless of their political leanings.

As much as I didn't like Kerry, he was there fighting.

He served. So he beats Bush on that front and a solid portion of the rest of the country as well. That he gets respect for. Doesn't mean I want him as president but he gets some respect.

Agreed. And the same thing should have applied to Kerry. He made the mistake of making his 9 months in vietnam too much of his campaign. Doesn't excuse the swiftboaters though.

~Eberly.

Who on this thread is making fun of McCain's being tortured?

Nobody?

K, Get over yerselves and save yer faux outrage fer yer own team.

Folk on the left actually quoted McCain's condemnation of torture and backed him when he bravely went on that stage fulla GOP nominees fer POTUS last year and said, to a room fulla cricket noises, that America was better than that.

That response in comparison to the bloodthirsty howls of approval that other more torture-happy rtards made on that stage spoke volumes.

In terms of making fun of torture you only have to read the DR to find out who's making the "hazing" and "panties on the head" posts to find out who the real cowards are.

In terms of criticising? Free speech allows public dissent at the thoughts, words and deeds of public figures.

Don't like it? Move to North Korea.

/Btw, McCain really was a shitty pilot. If he hadn't been connected by birth to Navy royalty he woulda been demoted to swabee and not allowed the chance to wreck as many planes as he did.

On Topic?

I didn't say anything about McCain being made fun of for being tortured.

Actually it was a joke. And then dipshits like furryhole come along and actually defend the comments made about McCain.

furryhole is busy digging up old posts of mine to see if I made disparaging comments about Kerry's military service.

LOL

I didn't say anything about McCain being made fun of for being tortured.

Indirectly you did by agreeing with the Cluless Rebel.

Hey they are everywhere. You don't have to tell me who is a draft dodger. I already knew. The point (which you and others are trying to deflect from) is that it is hypocritical to slam one person's military service when your hero was a draft dodger.

"The point (which you and others are trying to deflect from) is that it is hypocritical to slam one person's military service when your hero was a draft dodger."

why in a million fucking years would you say someone "draft dodging" a ridiculous war like vietnam is bad? It's called being intelligent. If the US was being invaded and Clinton dodged the draft then slam his ass. Giving kudos for McCain being in the military? What the fuck for, it was his family's chosen profession. His father had to fight hard to keep him from being shitcanned. One would figue little John McCain would make better use of tax payers money by studying hard and not crashing airplanes.

You are an ass.

My first husband was captured after his chopper went down in korea, ( it was shot down). he spent the duration of the war in a prizon camp in north korea. he was tortured, if he was alive today he would be right up front against tortue---it doesn't work, he told them anything an everything they wanted---that didn't make him a coward.
John Mc cain was tortured terribly, if you take the time to read anything on he stay in that great hotel he stayed in, all most every bone in his body was broken, but yet he still sent coded messages that he was okay to the people who were listening.
john kerry did 2 services in vietnam---my brother was there at about the same time, and it was a hell hole. they don't give medales to these people because they did nothing.
Any man or women who served in any battle should be admired not put down, by people some of who was never in these men's situation, either for college, haveing to many kids, or a pimble on thier rear ends, or daddy had money. we owe respect for any man or women who put their lives on the line for their country---oh forgot now today its not your country, its your State.
i'm an independant so i'm not taking sides at this point, catch me later i might

You are an ass.

A nerve struck over Hannity, very sad..

He was not tortured

The Chinese Govt used enhanced interrogation techniques. These were used only to protect the Chinese people from an enemy that was attempting to change thier way of life. They were able to obtain credible information to foil plots.

Mao kept his people safe

It was painful to actually write this

FWTHOM-
The torture practices that we use were adapted directly from the chi-coms.

"For most of that time, he was kept in a dark, damp cell with no bed and no opening except a slot in the door through which a bowl of food could be pushed. Much of the time he was handcuffed. Hour after hour, a high-frequency whistle pierced the air.

Look at it. Sleep deprivation, stress positions, etc.

Was he stripped naked and tormented with dogs, too? The article doesn't say.

Right?

We executed Japanese for waterboarding after WWII. We referred to such actions as war crimes. There is a waterboarding device on display at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Cambodia.

When you are honest about your position, we have a beginning, an opening for a real conversation.

You are for torture when your side does it, and think it the utmost evil when practiced by your enemies.

Thank you for your extremely evasive and reluctant honesty.

Just out of curiosity, though, FW - will "our seed" condone elected officials who secretly break the law and torture "THOSE PEOPLE", or will we one day openly and legally torture "THOSE PEOPLE" in the rush to be as ruthless and evil as "THOSE PEOPLE", in order to preserve our freedoms and moral superiority and the rule of law?

I could be wrong but I believed 101 was applying some sarcasm to his post.

This is an accurate and full description of the events on the Forrestal. As much as some would like to blame Mccain, he didn't cause the fire. I have seen many, many reports and talked to lots of Forrestal crewmen at the time of the fire, so rest assured the reports of a "wet start" are bullshit. I was aboard the Randolph right across the pier from Forrestal when she arrived in Norfolk for repairs at the naval shipyard.

www.gregoryafreeman.com

Incidently, Eberly, Kerry served less than four months in Vietnam, not nine months as you said in an earlier post. He did it strictly to "get his ticket punched" for political reasons and not for any "patriotic" reason.

We all notice how Kerry volunteered for Vietnam and Shrub didn't. Glaring.

I was aboard the Randolph right across the pier from Forrestal when she arrived in Norfolk for repairs at the naval shipyard.

Clearly an expert!

"We all notice how Kerry volunteered for Vietnam and Shrub didn't. Glaring."

What??? You think I am a "Shrub" admirer? I'm not...it's just that I don't admire Kerry more than I don't admire Bush.

"Clearly an expert!"

Much, much, MUCH more than you and/or your little friends here. How many carriers have YOU ridden? How many missions have YOU flown? How many cat shots/traps have YOU experienced? How many carrier fires have YOU been involved in?

Oh, so s guy who jumped off his boat to shoot a Vietcong about to blow his boat up with an RPG garners more disdain from you than an idiot who spent Vietnam fighting hangovers?

OK

Much, much, MUCH more than you and/or your little friends here

LOL You make many assumptions, including the experience of the unstated person aboard the Randolph.

"MUCH more "

So when was your last night carrier landing?

"Oh, so s guy who jumped off his boat to shoot a Vietcong about to blow his boat up with an RPG garners more disdain from you than an idiot who spent Vietnam fighting hangovers?"

Yeah....
First off, a cardinal rule is that a skipper NEVER grounds his boat. Secondly, the teenager who fired the RPG was wounded and unarmed, thirdly, the asshole went back to reenact and video tape his heroic deed, and lastly, he came home and trashed his brothers in arms.

You love 'im, I don't...it's that simple.

Nightline completely ripped your story to shreds. Koppel found the relatives (and fellow Vietcong) of the Vietcong Kerry shot. They didn't know who Kerry was, but repeated the events as laid out in his Purple Heart/Silver Star commendation verbatim.

"So when was your last night carrier landing?"

1975, the year I retired. It was my first and only flight in an S3 from the Kennedy in the Med. I had my last cat shot in the COD to return to Norfolk for retirement. I(ncidently, I wasn't a driver, I was a crewman.

"I wasn't a driver"

bingo

Still, it's laughable that you'd hold someone in higher disdain who volunteered for Vietnam more than someone who spent Vietnam drunk on his ass with a million dollars in training going down the toilet.

"Nightline completely ripped your story to shreds. Koppel found the relatives (and fellow Vietcong) of the Vietcong Kerry shot. They didn't know who Kerry was, but repeated the events as laid out in his Purple Heart/Silver Star commendation verbatim."

Right...Peter Arnett, Dan Rather, Ted Koppel...all can be relied upon 110%. No matter what you say, every time I hear his name I envision Jane Fonda on the gun mount and John Kerry at those protests and his testimony to Congress.

Keep posting...maybe you can convince me to love him after all. Post some stuff from MoveOn or DailyKos...that might do it.

Typical knee jerk response.

It's all on video film. Koppel didn't ask leading questions. He asked what happened and let the film roll. Sorry the truth is so hard for you to swallow.

"bingo"

What's that mean? If it's meant to belittle, remember that the driver just drove the bus. Navigators, bombadiers, and the "crew" really performed the mission. :-)

Were you a driver?

Here's what a witness had to say. You said he was 'wounded'.

"I ran," she recalled, "Running fast. ... And the Americans came from down there, yelling 'Attack, Attack!' And we ran."

Her husband, Tam, said the man who fired the B-40 rocket was hit in this barrage of gunfire. Then, he said, "he ran about 18 meters before he died, falling dead."

If anyone's a shill that would be you, JESTGETTIN. You still subscribing to John O'Neill's newsletter?

Kinda like we feel about the "intelligentsia" from Nashville. I DO like Bredesen though. Even voted for him. Can you believe it? Remember, it was East Tennessee which remained loyal to the Union when Nashville seceeded. Look up how Gatlinburg got its name. It was called White Oaks Flats before the Civil War.

"Hard to know what your looking for.."

I shoulda been more specific. It was the only carrier plane which didn't have folding wings. Only problem was the tie-down chains made great knee knockers in the dark.

"Kinda like we feel about the "intelligentsia" from Nashville."

Just because we have all those universities and colleges, high per capita income and a well educated population shouldn't get you so jealous. I understand why you are though.
